Chapter 478 - 477: I Slept With Damian

Mrs. Sinclair left, and Cecilia Lynch retreated to the ward.

Bella Acker waited for a moment before stepping forward again.

The door to the ward was ajar, not locked. Bella hesitated and then gently pushed it open a crack.

Cecilia was speaking softly with a smile on her face, while Damian leaned against the headboard, expressionless.

Bella stood at the door, hesitating whether to enter.

Cecilia turned to pick up some fruit and suddenly looked towards the door, visibly startled when she saw Bella.

Damian followed her gaze to the door and also saw Bella. His expression instantly turned colder.

Bella saw the change in his expression, and her already hesitant steps came to a sudden halt.

Damian’s face suddenly turned cold. Did he not want her here?

Bella stood at the door, looking at Cecilia and then at Damian, feeling awkward, unsure whether to leave or to enter.

Cecilia got up and walked over, saying, "You came to see Damian."

"Yes." Bella replied softly.

"I have something to say to you. After I finish, you can go see Damian." Cecilia said and started towards the door.

Bella glanced at Damian, who remained silent in bed, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Whatever you have to say, just say it here."

"Alright." Cecilia said, "I’ve already slept with Damian."

Bella looked up at her, shocked, "What did you say?"

"I said I’ve already slept with Damian." Cecilia continued, "It was my first time. I’m already Damian’s woman."

"You’re lying! You’re trying to trick me again!" Bella turned to Damian, her voice shaking, "Damian, what she said isn’t true, is it? You two didn’t..."

Damian looked at her silently, and Cecilia spoke first, "Bella, if it weren’t true, do you think I would dare say this in front of Damian?"

Of course, she wouldn’t dare!

As soon as Bella heard her say it in front of Damian, she knew it was probably true. Even so, she still wanted to hear Damian deny it.

Tears welled up in Bella’s eyes, and she trembled, "Damian, just say it’s not true. As long as you say no, I’ll believe you."

Cecilia frowned, "Bella, why continue deceiving yourself? Mrs. Sinclair will never let you marry into the Sinclair Family. If Damian insists on being with you, he’ll have to break with his family, and he will never receive the blessing of his relatives. Do you really want Damian to live a life of pain?"

"Shut up!" Damian finally spoke, "Get out!"

Cecilia immediately went silent and stared at Bella resentfully before stomping out of the ward.

Bella still stood at the doorway, tears brimming in her eyes.

Damian looked at her without expression, "What are you here for?"

"Bella told me you were hospitalized for a stomach bleed. I came to see you." Bella forced back her tears and replied softly, "Are you feeling better?"

"She called you the day before yesterday, and you only came here in the middle of the night today." Damian sneered, "Ms. Acker’s work must be really busy."

"It’s not like that." Bella shook her head, "I was filming a program in the mountains, and my phone had no signal. I only got Bella’s message today."

"It only takes two hours to fly back from Stellaport. Even if you finished filming in the afternoon, you should have arrived much earlier, don’t you think, Ms. Acker?"
