Chapter 441 441: Team 7's Strength Shake the Ninja World
Chapter 441 441: Team 7's Strength Shake the Ninja World
After the Hidden Cloud Village surrendered, Uchiha Fugaku and the others began handling the post-war matters.
Kitazawa appeared directly in front of the Fourth Raikage.
"Teacher Kitazawa!" Naruto shouted happily.
"Teacher Kitazawa." Sasuke and Hinata were a step slower and greeted him as well.
"You all did very well today." Kitazawa chuckled softly. "I'll treat the Fourth Raikage first, so he doesn't kick the bucket."
He extended both hands and activated the Mystical Palm Technique. A pale green light enveloped the Fourth Raikage.
The injuries inside his body healed rapidly. However, he did not wake up.
His injuries had been too severe. Even though they were healed, he would still need several months to recover.
Kitazawa withdrew his hands, and three lines of text appeared before his eyes.
[Current Task: Three students overwhelm the Hidden Cloud Village.]
[Quest Reward: Takami Musubinokami (Exalted Primordial Force God).]
[The host has completed the mission. Rewards are being issued.]
Kitazawa nodded in satisfaction. He had obtained another Rinnegan-level ocular technique.
Now that the Hidden Sand and the Hidden Cloud Village had both been defeated, only the Hidden Stone Village and the Hidden Mist Village remained.
He wondered whether those two villages could provide him with two more Rinnegan-level ocular techniques.
"You've worked hard. Go and rest." Kitazawa reached out, rubbed Hinata's head, and spoke.
"Yes, Teacher Kitazawa." Sasuke and the others responded in unison.
After they left, Fugaku walked over.
"The Fourth Raikage is out of danger. Take him and the other Hidden Cloud ninja back to Konoha Village." Kitazawa spoke casually.
"Yes, Hokage-sama." Fugaku immediately responded.
"Call Itachi over. I have a mission for him." Kitazawa added.
Fugaku nodded and hurried off to inform Uchiha Itachi.
"Hokage-sama." Itachi soon arrived before Kitazawa.
"I'm assigning you a mission. Go and take control of the Land of Lightning." Kitazawa instructed.
Itachi was briefly stunned, then nodded in agreement. This was not the first time he had done something like this.
Previously, he had taken control of the Land of Fire according to Kitazawa's instructions.
Controlling the Land of Lightning now would not be a problem.
"White Zetsu." Kitazawa tapped the ground lightly.
White Zetsu emerged from underground.
"Spread the news of this matter." Kitazawa smiled faintly. "I hope it doesn't frighten Iwagakure and Kirigakure too much."
In truth, there was no need to guess. Hidden Stone and the Hidden Mist Village must already be trembling.
Hidden Sand Village was weaker than them, so its defeat was understandable.
But the Hidden Cloud Village was considered the strongest among the four great hidden villages.
Yet it had lost—and lost in such an overwhelming manner. To them, this was a crushing blow.
[Current Mission: Subdue the enemy without fighting; force a hidden village to surrender voluntarily.]
[Mission Reward: Yomotsu Hirasaka.]
[Do you accept?]
Kitazawa could not help but let out a soft exclamation. To think that such a system mission would be triggered.
But the reward was excellent. Yomotsu Hirasaka was an ultimate space-time ninjutsu belonging to the Kekkei Mōra.
Its ability was to open portals that allowed travel between different dimensions. In the original story, both Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and Ōtsutsuki Urashiki had used it.
Kitazawa stroked his chin thoughtfully. Between Iwagakure and the Hidden Mist Village, which one would surrender voluntarily?
He believed the latter was more likely.
The Hidden Mist Village's strength was comparatively weak, not on the same level as the Hidden Cloud or Hidden Stone(Iwa).
Their current resistance relied largely on their geographical advantage.
However, the sea could not close the gap between the Hidden Mist Village and Konoha Village.
Defeat was only a matter of time.
Combined with the news of the Hidden Cloud's defeat, the Hidden Mist Village would certainly be shaken.
Kitazawa planned to visit the Hidden Mist Village after White Zetsu had fully spread the news.
If they were sensible, voluntary surrender would be the best outcome. If they refused, he did not mind giving them a push.
Kitazawa returned to his senses and looked at the captured Hidden Cloud ninja.
They were densely packed, stretching as far as the eye could see.
Although Team 7 had killed many, more than ten thousand Hidden Cloud ninja had participated in this battle.
More than half were still alive.
At that moment, Kitazawa had to consider an issue. Konoha Village could no longer accommodate so many people.
Especially with the ninja of Iwagakure and the Hidden Mist Village yet to be dealt with.
There was another issue as well. How should the ninja from the four great villages who had not participated in the war be handled?
Kitazawa's ultimate goal was to integrate all ninja, eventually leaving only Konoha Village.
But he understood that such a task would not be easy.
Without decades—or even a century—it would be difficult for ninja from other villages to forget their original identities.
Fortunately, he possessed absolute strength. The rest was only a matter of time.
With that thought, Kitazawa formed a plan.
He decided to establish five ninja units based on the existing structure, each responsible for managing one of the Five Great Villages.
In simple terms, ninjas would be divided into two types in the future.
One type would remain traditional ninja, whose duty would be to join the five ninja units and protect the shinobi world.
The other type would become new-style ninja, serving in various fields such as transportation and engineering.
Kitazawa walked toward Fugaku and the others.
"Hokage-sama!" The Konoha ninja greeted him excitedly.
Although he had not personally intervened in the war, his three students had defeated the Hidden Cloud Village.
"Hokage-sama." Uchiha Fugaku stepped forward. "There are too many Hidden Cloud ninja. It is not suitable to bring them all back to Konoha Village."
Kitazawa spoke directly. "Only bring the Jonin back."
Fugaku was slightly stunned. "Then how should the remaining Hidden Cloud ninja be handled?"
"Mabui, come here."
Her white hair and dark skin made her easy to recognize.
Samui instinctively stepped in front of Mabui.
Kitazawa glanced at her briefly. Her figure was indeed comparable to Tsunade's.
Mabui shook her head at Samui. At this point, resistance was meaningless.
"Hokage-sama." Mabui bowed slightly. "What are your instructions?"
Her attitude was extremely humble. After all, the lives of the Hidden Cloud ninja were in Kitazawa's hands.
Offending him would bring no benefit.
"Take the Chunin and Genin back to the Hidden Cloud Village," Kitazawa said with a faint smile.
Mabui's eyes widened in surprise. But she quickly understood.
Kitazawa considered the number of Hidden Cloud ninja too large to bring back to Konoha.
Moreover, he was confident that even if they returned home, they would not dare rebel again.
"Yes, Hokage-sama." Mabui sighed inwardly and agreed.
Hearing this, Uchiha Fugaku understood Kitazawa's reasoning. He actually thought it was a good idea.
After all, taking so many Hidden Cloud ninja back would be troublesome.
"I'll leave the rest to you. I'm heading back to Konoha Village first." After speaking to Uchiha Fugaku, Kitazawa vanished from the spot.
---
Konoha Casino.
The Fourth Great Ninja War had not affected this place. It was still as lively as ever.
Kitazawa soon found Tsunade sitting at a gambling table. He walked over.
"Teacher Tsunade." Sitting beside her, he asked with a smile, "How much did you win?"
"Mind your own business!" Tsunade's face darkened immediately.
"What you're losing is my money." Kitazawa laughed. "Why can't I mind?"
"Don't talk nonsense!" Tsunade glared at him. "I haven't lost yet!"
"Then good luck." Kitazawa raised his hand casually.
"…" Tsunade's lips twitched. She was momentarily speechless.
She turned back to the gambling table. As expected, she lost again.
"I'm hungry. I'm done for now. I'll come back this afternoon." She pushed aside her chips and stood up.
"Lost it all again?" Kitazawa blinked.
"It's only morning!" Tsunade gritted her teeth. "I'll definitely win it back this afternoon!"
"I'll look forward to it." Kitazawa smiled.
"Don't you have anything to do?" Tsunade frowned.
She did not care much about winning or losing, but constantly losing in front of Kitazawa still felt embarrassing.
"I just returned from the Land of Moon," Kitazawa replied. "The Hidden Cloud Village has surrendered."
Tsunade froze, surprise flashing across her face. Although Konoha was strong, the Hidden Cloud was no weak opponent in her opinion.
She did not expect the second defeated village to be the Hidden Cloud.
With the Hidden Cloud's defeat, the Hidden Stone(Iwa) and the Hidden Mist(Kiri) Village likely would not last long.
Tsunade looked at Kitazawa, momentarily dazed.
Once all four great hidden villages surrendered, he would truly become the second God of Shinobi.
In some ways, he might even surpass Senju Hashirama. After all, he had not personally intervened.
Yet the capture of the nine Tailed Beasts was closely tied to him.
"Did the Hidden Cloud Village surrender that quickly?" Tsunade came back to her senses and asked curiously.
"Ten thousand Hidden Cloud ninja were defeated directly by Team 7." Kitazawa chuckled.
"Just those three?" Tsunade was stunned.
She knew Team 7 was strong, but this exceeded her expectations.
"Yeah," Kitazawa spoke casually. "Two Jinchuriki and one Tenseigan. Their strength is already overwhelming."
"I feel calling them the New Konoha Sannin isn't appropriate." Tsunade sighed.
"Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and I were never this strong."
Back then, they were named the Konoha Sannin after fighting Hanzō and failing to win. He granted them that title. In truth, it carried a hint of humiliation.
But Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata were different. Their strength was greater. Their achievements were more impressive.
"That doesn't matter." Kitazawa understood her meaning, but titles no longer meant much.
No matter what they were called, no one would dare underestimate them.
"True." Tsunade stood up. "Let's go home and eat."
Kitazawa nodded and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to bring her home.
Meanwhile, under White Zetsu's efforts, news of Team 7 defeating the Hidden Cloud Village quickly spread across the Ninja World.
Konoha Village was naturally overjoyed, especially the Hyuga and Uchiha clans. Both clans held victory banquets that very day.
At the same time, the next Hokage became a heated topic within both clans.
Team 7's achievements were more than enough to qualify.
---
The temporary Konoha base in the Land of Water.
"Is it really that exaggerated?" Asuma's eyes widened.
"It sounds like a dying man's hallucination." Anko could not help but complain after hearing White Zetsu's report.
"Team 7 really are… monsters." Tayuya's lips twitched.
Thinking that she had once tried to surpass them made her feel she had greatly overestimated herself.
"How strong have they become?" Shikamaru asked, puzzled.
"Stronger than us, that's for sure." Ino sighed.
She had thought that becoming the Two-Tails Jinchuriki would close the gap, but it was still vast.
"I think we should show our true strength, too. Let me lead the Cursed Seal Squad in a surprise attack on the Hidden Mist headquarters!" Anko said excitedly.
"We have two Jinchuriki. We can definitely do it!" Asuma agreed.
Everyone instinctively looked at Nara Shikaku. He was the commander of Konoha's Third Ninja Unit.
Previously, his strategy had been cautious because the Hidden Mist Village held a strong advantage at sea.
First, Water Release techniques were enhanced. Second, the Hiding in Mist Technique severely limited visibility.
Even White Zetsu could not completely solve that issue. Unless every ninja was assigned one.
At that moment, the air distorted.
Nara Shikaku and the others immediately became alert until Kitazawa stepped out.
"Teacher Kitazawa!" Ino rushed forward.
"I agree with Anko's plan." Kitazawa rubbed Ino's head.
"Yes, Hokage-sama!" Anko responded excitedly.
"Hokage-sama, when will the operation begin?" Nara Shikaku asked.
"Tonight." Kitazawa thought briefly before answering.
His plan was for the Cursed Seal Squad to apply pressure from the outside while he went to find Mei Terumī and persuade her to surrender voluntarily.
That way, he could complete the system mission. It would also allow the Cursed Seal Squad to showcase their strength.
"Should we go as well?" Asuma asked instinctively.
"Go." Kitazawa nodded.
"Everyone, prepare." Nara Shikaku ordered. "We move at midnight."
Midnight was chosen because most Hidden Mist ninja would be asleep, increasing the chance of success.
Kitazawa did not think timing mattered much anymore, but as commander, Nara Shikaku's decision stood.
Night fell.
The temporary Hidden Mist base in the Land of Water. Inside the main tent on a certain island, Terumī Mei and the others sat in silence.
Without White Zetsu, they had received the news only after some time. Now, none of them could sleep.
After Sunagakure's defeat came the Hidden Cloud's defeat.
And the outcome was even more shocking. Three people had defeated ten thousand Hidden Cloud ninja.
If Konoha sent Team 7 against them, could they resist?
The answer was obvious. They could not. For a moment, despair filled the tent.
