The afternoon exams began as scheduled, and all students entered the examination room.
At 2:00 PM sharp, the exam began.
There were still teachers proctoring the exam, and Lin Chen wandered around outside the exam room.
Director Ye Xin, also an inspector, met Lin Chen outside the examination hall.
"Thank you for your hard work, Commissioner Lin." Ye Xin nodded to Lin Chen in acknowledgment.
"Director Ye has worked so hard, nurturing students for a year, and now he has to stand guard for them until the very end."
The two stood in front of the corridor railing, chatting happily, facing the wind blowing from afar.

It was still by the wall yesterday, under that lush sycamore tree.

A long, slender great white shark swam overhead, and Xia Mi hid in Lin Chen's arms in fright.
After the shark swam away, Xia Mi would point to the sea turtle and show it to Lin Chen.
Lin Chen also liked this feeling, and imitated the seahorse's movements for Xia Mi to see, which made Xia Mi giggle.
The outing continued into the evening. Lin Chen took Xia Mi to the aquarium, strolled through the iconic park, and finally enjoyed a delicious Peking duck dinner before returning to school.
The two parted ways outside the school, and Xia Mi still took the route of climbing over the wall.
Xia Mi jumped onto the sycamore tree with practiced ease, first peeking her head out like a kitten.
"Senior, let's go to the amusement park tomorrow!"
Lin Chen crossed his arms and looked up at her: "You've already planned this out?"
"Yeah!" Xia Mi exclaimed happily, "We've already visited two of the three great date spots! Tomorrow we're going to the Ferris wheel at the amusement park, doesn't that sound exciting!"
Before Lin Chen could speak, he saw Xia Mi's figure disappear into the sycamore tree, followed by the sound of her landing inside the wall.

Ye Xin placed the dry red wine on the table: "Do you have a blanket?"
"What?" Lin Chen was stunned, thinking he had misheard.
"Oh no..." Ye Xin blushed instantly. "I'm sorry, it's a cup, a cup."
Lin Chen laughed: "Why did you blurt out your true feelings?"
"Huh? I didn't..." Ye Xin's gaze darted away. "It was a slip of the tongue, just a slip of the tongue."
Lin Chen turned around, picked up a glass, and opened a bottle of red wine: "Come on, Director Ye, let me toast you."
"Don't keep calling me 'Director,'" Ye Xin said. "I also graduated from Kassel College, just call me senior."
"Okay, senior." Lin Chen raised his glass. "Then we definitely have to have a drink."

A bottle of red wine was quickly emptied, and Ye Xin soon became intoxicated.

"Really?" Xia Mi's eyes lit up, and she jumped off Lin Chen. "You've won! My parents have invited you to their house for dinner. When are you free?"
