A roar came from beside him, and the subordinate felt dizzy and trembled involuntarily. He moved behind the woman, and Li Si gave a signal to the other subordinates behind him.

Li Si led his men after them, whispering to his subordinates, "When the time is right, go up and tie them up."

"Yes," the subordinate replied immediately.

The woman's name was Xia Wusheng. She gritted her teeth. There was still a distance to the house she needed to go back to, and her grandfather needed the money.

After walking for a while, Xia Wusheng felt a chill down her spine, as if she were being followed by something, so she quickened her pace.

Seeing that something was amiss, Li Si gave his subordinates another meaningful look.

The meaning in his eyes was clear: he wanted to go forward and track them down.

His subordinate nodded in response, and Li Si made a gesture, prompting the group to move out together, creating a gust of wind.

Xia Wusheng also felt the wind and became more alert. He quickened his pace and turned around to see Li Si and his group of men. He was shocked, but then panicked and thought to himself.

It's true what they say, what you don't want to happen, happens. If I get caught, I'm definitely done for.

Thinking it over, Xia Wusheng quickly got to work, but Li Si was no easy opponent. He had slept with many girls, and Xia Wusheng's little escape was nothing to him.

Xia Wusheng was running in a circle. Li Si signaled to his men, who immediately understood and split up with Li Si to intercept him.

Xia Wusheng was unaware of this, glancing at Li Si's pursuit behind him while looking at the chaotic crowd ahead.

"Pfft!"

Xia Wusheng winced in pain, feeling as if she had bumped into a wall. She instinctively looked up and was stunned by the handsome face before her.

It was Ron.

Ron smiled, finally finding them. Then, following Xia Wusheng's direction, he looked at the situation and instantly understood everything. He realized they were surrounded, and his eyes turned cold.

Li Si, panting heavily, glared menacingly at Xia Wusheng. "Xia Wusheng, you're really good at running. I'll have to teach you a lesson later!"

Upon hearing Li Si's words, Xia Wusheng couldn't help but turn his head, only to be startled by his appearance. He instinctively stepped back and almost fell into Ron's arms.

Ron tightened his grip, recognizing Xia Wusheng's latent talent for shadow magic, and then reassured Xia Wusheng, "Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you."

Hearing Ron's words, Xia Wusheng felt a touch of emotion and looked up at him gratefully, "You..."

Before Xia Wusheng could finish speaking, Li Si interrupted him, scoffing and looking Ron up and down.

Ron was incredibly thin, looking like a stick.

Li Si clicked his tongue twice, giving Ron a disdainful look. "You? Go home and grow vegetables!"

"If you know what's good for you, get lost and mind your own business, or you'll regret it. My hands are itching to get involved!"

Ron's eyes turned cold, and the chilling aura made Li Si shrink back. Then, he became furious and roared, "You really think you're something special!"

“Ordinary cattle and horses, not even as good as animals.” Ron’s lips curled into a contemptuous smile, he raised his eyes indifferently, his face showing no concern, as if he didn’t care.

This completely enraged Li Si, who spat out a mouthful of phlegm, "If I don't show you what I'm capable of today, you'll never know your place!"

As he spoke, he raised his hand, "Brothers, let's show him what's what!"

"Yes!" With Li Si's command, the others rushed toward Ron like sharp swords, their expressions fierce.

Xia Wusheng gasped in surprise, instinctively closing his eyes as his whole body trembled.

Ron chuckled, then covered Xia Wusheng's eyes with his hand, his movements swift and efficient.

Xia Wusheng felt gusts of wind rising around her, and she could feel Ron leading her as if they were dancing.

She couldn't help but open her eyes. At first, all she saw was darkness. Then the hands disappeared, and the men who had been so arrogant just moments before appeared before her. Now, they were all writhing on the ground in agony, groaning in pain.

Turning his head, he saw Ron with a cold gaze, looking straight ahead, directly at Li Si.

She followed Ron's gaze and looked at Li Si.

Li Si stared wide-eyed at his subordinates, his legs trembling, then looked at Ron, his voice also trembling.

"You...how did you do that?"

In all his years in Konoha, this was the first time he had ever seen someone fight so many people with their bare hands.

What kind of terrifying being is this?

Ron scoffed without replying, his gaze sharpening, which sent a chill down Li Si's spine.

This place is no place to stay any longer, we have to run!

This thought appeared in his mind, and his legs immediately began to move quickly, disappearing from sight in an instant.

Ron disdained to chase after them. These small fry would eventually be tamed by someone else. He would just fight any more tyrannical people he encountered.

Seeing Li Si run away, Xia Wusheng was stunned for a moment. Remembering how he felt just now, his cheeks flushed red and he lowered his head.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Next time something like this happens, remember to run away and find a group of people. There are plenty of people in Konoha who know some martial arts." Ron glanced at the girl and replied.

"Mmm." Xia Wusheng blushed even more and nodded.

This man truly fulfilled her childhood fantasy of a knight-errant. If she could be with a man like this, she would surely have a worry-free life for the rest of her days.

Ron frowned. He had just stepped outside when he saw this group of people, and now they wouldn't let him leave. He was extremely annoyed. His face was cold and his words were like icy daggers.

"What do you want to do?"

The leader laughed, his stubble glaring at the eye. "This family owes a lot of money. Now that you've stepped forward in front of them, shouldn't you pay it back?"

Xia Wusheng's eyes widened, and he stormed over to Ron's side. "Don't make false accusations! You were the ones who kicked me and my grandparents out years ago. The three of us have been relying on each other ever since. When did we ever borrow money from you?"

The leader laughed, his eagle-like eyes narrowing with a fierce look. "I said we have it, so we have it. I advise you to hand over the money, or you'll know how powerful we are."

"Although the village chief advocates peace now, I don't recommend inflicting internal injuries on you, so don't try to preach any grand principles to me."

"I'm hiring only professionals now..."

Before he could finish speaking, a gust of wind swept past, his throat was gripped, and the leader felt a wave of dizziness before his eyes met Ron's.

My hands and feet felt like they were floating in the air, and I had no sense of freedom at all.

"You!" The leader stared wide-eyed at Ron in disbelief.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he finished speaking, he felt a tightness in his throat and a feeling of suffocation rushed over him.

"Boss!" his men shouted, glancing at Ron but not daring to make a move.

"Hey, let him go! Otherwise, we won't let you off the hook!"

At that moment, someone glared at them, their eyes bloodshot and filled with anger.

"Let me go?" Upon hearing the man's words, Ron smiled faintly, walked over, kicked the man to the ground, and looked coldly at him.

"I wonder why you won't let me go?"

The man felt a shiver run down his spine, and looking at Ron, he instinctively became timid. His heart skipped a beat, and he immediately changed his attitude.

"Great hero, spare my life! Please let me go!"

"Quickly, find the village chief."

Someone was whispering to the person next to them.

Xia Wusheng realized what was happening and hurriedly went to stop the man, scoffing, "Trying to frame the village chief? Shameless!"

Seeing Xia Wusheng do this, the man went straight over and tried to force his way in.

However, he was met head-on by Ron, who kicked him again, sending him flying instantly.

The man felt excruciating pain all over his body; he felt as if his entire body had been crushed.

He looked up at Ron.

"You're quite good at making false accusations. Now what? Trying to turn the tables?" Ron grinned with a bloodthirsty smile, making the man feel uneasy.

The leader, however, was being choked by Ron and was stammering, trying to get Ron to let go.

Ron ruthlessly shoved him away, and the leader instantly felt intense pain.

"If you dare to do this again, it won't be that simple. Now get out of here!"

Ron glanced at everyone, his gaze growing even colder.

Everyone present flinched, and Xia Wusheng looked at Ron, unable to help but feel admiration.

She was increasingly admiring this man's demeanor and abilities.

"Let's go!" The leader coughed a few times, his throat still feeling extremely uncomfortable, as if he didn't want to suffer any more.

The others followed the leader and left.

"Thank you so much. The one in the lead is my uncle. He wanted to seize the family business, so he kicked my grandparents and me out."

“Now they’ve heard rumors that my grandparents have made money, so they want to come and rob some things. They came once before, but I scared them off by saying that I’m the village chief and I advocate peace. They were afraid I would go to the village chief.”

Xia Wusheng sighed repeatedly, "I didn't expect these people to be so unwilling to give up, and to actually come back with a vengeance, and even drag you into this. I'm sorry."

"It's okay, just be more careful next time, but the chances of them coming are slim."

Ron glanced at Xia Wusheng and patted her shoulder again.
