The divine right of kings has become a reality in this new era.
At this time, the original Lake and Sea Manor, because of the arrival of a certain apostle, was filled with holiness and orthodoxy for the believers.
Therefore, without damaging the original layout of the Lake and Sea Manor, the entire area was expanded to the maximum extent, and the most magnificent temple of the new era was built.
Ivanka, originally the eldest daughter of a family, has become a saint-like figure, possessing immense power second only to great gods and apostles.
At this moment, in an incredibly luxurious dressing room, Ivanka sat gracefully, surrounded by nearly a dozen maids who were dressing her up, slowly putting on an extremely complex and gorgeous coat that concealed her incredibly hot and sexy figure.
At this moment, Ivanka had lost some of the sex appeal and glamour of a modern woman, but gained more nobility and majesty, resembling a queen of a new era.
Looking at her elegant and beautiful reflection in the mirror, Ivanka's eyes were filled with confidence and satisfaction.
She liked this feeling. Lord Baldr, the Lord of Light, would not spare a mere planet. The Apostle had also vanished without a trace. She was the new queen of this world.
Suddenly, a male voice came from behind him.
"You look even more charming like this than before."
Ivanka frowned. As a saint of the new era, she held an extremely high position. To avoid being 'contaminated,' she had long ago replaced everyone in the entire temple with women, and not just any women, but outstanding women who possessed both beauty and wisdom.
Even her father chose to leave on his own, so why is there a male voice here all of a sudden?
But soon enough: "The voice sounds so familiar!"
A sudden jolt ran through her, and she turned around abruptly, looking with immense joy at the source of the voice: "Master Apostle, you're back."
Then she saw a familiar yet unfamiliar figure standing at the doorway, looking at her with admiration.
He still had that incredibly handsome face, but beyond that, his aura seemed to have become even more extraordinary.
So much so that at this moment, her eyes unconsciously revealed a look of infatuation.
She was born into a wealthy family and admired power more than appearance. When unparalleled beauty and godlike power are combined, how could she not be infatuated?
Previously, due to global crises, it was barely suppressed.
Now that the crisis is over, perhaps she can do something even bolder?
Thinking this, she stood up, walked forward, and with an incredibly elegant queenly gait, stepped towards Badr.
"My apostle, did you return this time because you missed me?"
A stunningly beautiful woman, already incredibly sexy, stares directly at you with those alluring eyes—this is not something a normal man can ignore.
Originally, Baldr just wanted to change worlds and reopen the portal, since portals aren't only usable in the Marvel universe.
But right now, Badr feels that things like crossing the boundary gate can be put aside for the time being, as there are more important things to do.
The next moment, Badr strode forward, picked up the beautiful and noble young lady, and turned to walk towards his original bedroom.
Chapter 42 "Missionaries" and "God"
The next day, sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the messy bed, scattered clothes, and a long, straight leg peeking out from under the disheveled blankets.
Badr, who had simply draped a coat over his shoulders, stood up, picked up a glass of wine, and walked in another direction.
With a single thought, the portal reappeared.
Two fixed vortexes converge above, representing the world that Badr has successfully conquered.
Badr stretched out his hand: "Search for low-level fantasy worlds that possess God."
After a moment's thought, he added, "The limitation is that the God within the world is weaker than me."
However, as time passed, the familiar vortex did not appear, and the entire interdimensional gate remained eerily quiet.
Badr frowned. "What do you mean? Does this mean that in countless worlds there is no God weaker than me?"
Upon closer reflection, it seems somewhat strange that the gods of some lower-level worlds are far less expressive than he is now.
"Is it because of a false omniscient and omnipotent authority?"
It doesn't seem impossible. Pseudo-omniscience and omnipotence are inferior, low-end powers that are limited by realms, worlds, realms, positions, etc., and cannot demonstrate true omniscience and omnipotence.
However, even the most inferior pseudo-omniscience and omnipotence is still omniscience and omnipotence, and it is the power that Badr is most interested in now.
Perhaps, among all the heavens and myriad worlds, there exists a God weaker than Baldr, but with the addition of pseudo-omniscient and omnipotent authority, he can achieve invincibility at the same level and fight against those of higher levels. So, no matter what, he can at least temporarily hold his own against the current Baldr.
Thinking about it that way, the possibility is indeed not low.
For a moment, Badr fell silent.
"Wait, even if pseudo-omniscience and omnipotence are incredibly powerful, they might be able to remain undefeated against a God whose strength and status are lower than mine, but that doesn't mean there's absolutely no way to achieve it."
A moment later, Badr raised his head again, his gaze fixed intently on the portal.
"To search for a lower world that possesses a true God, I need to have the power I currently possess to kill the other party or take away their power!"
It doesn't matter what the other party's strength or rank is; as long as you obtain their power, that's enough.
One second, two seconds...
Finally, the interdimensional gate began to operate, and an astonishing power of devouring energy burst forth from it.
A smile appeared on Badr's face. He took out the idol of faith and manipulated the power of faith within it, continuously pouring it into the interdimensional gate.
Time continued to pass, and soon the power of faith within the idol was rapidly depleted.
Badr's expression turned slightly solemn. As expected of a world related to God, the consumption was far greater than last time. You must know that the current idol of faith houses the faith of more than one world.
Without hesitation, Baldr directly manipulated his divine power of light and continued to pour it into the portal.
A few more minutes passed, and two-fifths of the divine power of light within Baldr's body was consumed. Finally, the energy absorption of the interdimensional gate began to slow down, and after a while, it disappeared completely.
A moment later, three world vortexes emerged.
Demon Slayer
"missionary"
"God"
The First World is quite familiar to me; it has appeared before and truly matches Baldr's initial understanding—a low-level fantasy world with a true God.
Furthermore, considering that God's strength is no less than Baldr's own, and that Baldr still has a chance to win, the appropriate approach would probably be to cooperate with the demon, God's adversary.
Baderdo glanced at the first world a few times; to be honest, he was quite interested in it.
Then, when his gaze shifted to the second world, he fell silent.
He knew this world, and his feelings were complicated and he couldn't make a judgment.
In a world with only one pantheon of gods, God's power ranks third? Can anyone believe that?
A saintly killer can kill God with a single shot.
A mortal man, having obtained the creation of the world, could easily defeat God.
It's full of things that make you want to complain a million times but don't know how to express it.
However, this world is also known as the world where it is easiest to kill God, since God in this world dies in the story itself.
As for the last world, I'm not very familiar with it. The only short story I can recall that fits the name is that of a god who, apart from treating humans as toys, doesn't seem to have much else to offer.
If he really is the God from that short story, then the most straightforward approach would be to simply send troops over for a head-on confrontation. Based on the judgment of the interdimensional gate, Baldr seems to have a certain chance of winning.
Three worlds: one tries to cooperate with the devil, one uses tricks and cunning to plan, and one starts by fighting head-on.
In just a few seconds, Badr abandoned the third world and went straight to the fight. It was the simplest and most brutal approach, but there was no room for hesitation. The battle started right away, and the outcome was up to fate. Badr wasn't a gambler and had no interest in risking his life for a chance.
Badr's gaze lingered between the worlds of "The Demon Slayer" and "The Missionary".
Theoretically, "The Missionary" is the most suitable, because the God in that movie is really incompetent. It feels like anyone could easily kill that weak God!
However, he hesitated a little.
First, the Holy Killer in the missionary world is very strange. Some people say he is related to some kind of Angel of Death. He can kill God with one shot, and he might be able to kill Baldr with one shot as well.
Another point is that "Preacher" seems to have a connection to DC Points.
If it really is one of the billions of parallel universes in DC, then trying to mess with that God in the past would be suicide!
The God of the DC Universe is truly omniscient and omnipotent, a being who can stand at the highest peak in all the heavens and worlds. The one in the Missionary world, even if he is just a projection or an avatar of the DC God, would probably die the moment Baldr wins.
Chapter Forty-Three: When God Bleeds, He Dies
Above all living beings in the world is God. But what kind of existence are humans and ordinary people to God?
At this moment, the answer was found in this seemingly small room.
God, with his white hair and beard, sat in his seat, gazing at a table not far away.
That was just a table to Him, but to the beings living within that 'table,' it was not just a table, but their entire world.
At this moment, God's eyes did not hold the kindness and expectation that humans imagine; there was only indifference, as indifferent as a person suddenly seeing a group of ants crawling on the ground.
When people see ants, they feel curiosity and anticipation, but God doesn't have those feelings. For God, all the possibilities of humanity are something He can know instantly if He wants to know them.
He only looked at those ant-like humans because he was bored and wanted to pass the time.
Watching humans experiment with making fire by rubbing sticks together, God grew bored and with a gentle breath, extinguished their flame.
Time passed, and the human world suffered from a prolonged drought. God ordered his subordinates to bring rain to humanity, and the humans cheered with excitement. God smiled and continued to order his subordinates to bring rain. When the entire earth was lush and green, God suddenly withdrew all his smiles.
“Give them the plague.”
Mercy and kindness are things that the great God never needs. He wanted to do them, so He did them. Nothing else matters.
Throughout the sounds of panic, wails, and despair, and the gradually spreading silence that accompanied death, God showed no change in expression. He even picked up a book to divert his attention.
God is omniscient and omnipotent; He can know all the knowledge in the world if He wants to, and He has little interest in books.
He tossed the book aside with a hint of disdain, glanced casually at the nearly dead humans on the 'table' without lingering, and then looked up at the ceiling with a bored expression.
I'm so bored. I feel like finding something interesting to do. Should I just wipe out humanity completely?
Suddenly, God's expression changed. He raised his head and looked in one direction, his indifferent eyes revealing unprecedented excitement and curiosity.
Suddenly, a portal of light appeared in the room. The portal continued to extend, and in the blink of an eye, it grew to a height large enough to support a person.
The next moment, the portal opened, and a figure walked out.
What a magnificent figure this was! He was draped in boundless divine power, seemingly the source of all light. Just by being there, his majestic and awe-inspiring divine might permeated the entire world, as if all things had to submit to this figure.
