Extension of Chapter 29 Homework
Extension of Chapter 29 Homework
"I can't finish writing, I really can't finish writing..." On the last night before the start of the semester, a certain guy who gets sleepy as soon as he sees homework is writing furiously with tears streaming down his face. He always felt that dealing with official documents was easier than doing this.
Sasuke sat casually to one side, reading Naruto's miscellaneous books. His once upright posture had been influenced by Naruto, making him more relaxed, and he looked completely indifferent.
"Upon arriving at the mission location, the secret mission is activated, revealing that the mission level far exceeds your own. Do you wish to continue the mission?" Of course, say yes, refuse!
"Idiot, we should continue," Sasuke corrected him from the side.
Naruto continued writing his rejection without hesitation, and retorted: "According to Article 7 of Chapter 3 of the Konoha Ninja Law, when issuing a mission, the mission classification level must be disclosed. If any information is concealed, the ninja has the right to refuse the mission directly."
Sasuke was stunned, his head filled with question marks. He remembered that this course wasn't supposed to start until the next semester, right? The textbooks hadn't even been handed out yet. Besides, Naruto's memorization was clearly a weakness; he couldn't even remember slightly longer hand seals. How could he have memorized something like this?
"Didn't they say it was a secret mission?" Sasuke sensed something was wrong and tried to struggle.
"Secret missions are secret to outsiders, so of course the ninjas carrying them out should know. This assignment is getting angrier and angrier as I write it. Was it really written by ninjas?" Naruto flipped to the front and glanced at the list of editors. The editor's brows were furrowed tightly, and his eyes were sharp and cold. He looked like a arbiter with the power of life and death. He exuded authority without anger, and it seemed like he was about to declare that he would dismiss this group of people completely at any moment.
Sasuke looked at Naruto with curiosity, a side he'd never seen before. When the Third Hokage used to visit, Naruto often talked about becoming Hokage. While Naruto was quite strong, Sasuke had never really believed this seemingly foolish guy could actually become Hokage. But now it was different. For a moment, he even thought of his father—was that authoritative aura really just Naruto's?
"Naruto."
"what happened?"
His gloomy brows relaxed the moment he looked up, revealing the same clean and adorable child. Was it just his imagination? But that Naruto also seemed… Wait, what the hell is he thinking now!
Just a reminder, you still have two books to finish.
The once vibrant blonde hair was now completely ruined; her chubby little face contorted in pain, and she even seemed to be spitting out her own soul.
"Go back to sleep, Sasuke. Looks like I'm going to have to stay up all night." Naruto lowered his head, tossed aside the notebook he was working on, and picked up his math homework.
Sasuke, inexplicably moved by compassion, hesitated for a long time before finally putting down his book and walking to the table. "Give me one."
Sasuke's azure eyes widened for a moment. He thought Naruto would rush over and fawn over him with tears of gratitude, but Naruto crossed his arms and made a big no-no gesture. "No, this is my homework. Sasuke, haven't you been working on it for a long time these past few days? Go back to sleep."
What's going on? Is this guy really that principled? Not only does he not want to help, but he's also in such a hurry to get rid of him? Humph, I don't even care about him.
Sasuke's face fell, and he stepped out the door, slamming it shut behind him. Luckily, they had no neighbors around them.
"He's still just a kid." Naruto knew Sasuke would be unhappy if he refused, but he still had to do it because he had more important things to do. He hadn't paid attention in his moral education classes before, completely unaware of the problems with the textbooks. His assignments in the past few years were passable, but now that the curriculum started discussing ninjas, the amount of personal biased content he was including had become increasingly serious. How could he forget? Education and development must go hand in hand! Children are the best soil for sowing the seeds of hope!
Thinking of this, Naruto immediately pulled out his textbook from last semester and ran into the bathroom along with his unfinished homework. He was just a shadow clone, and even if he created another clone, it wouldn't last long. He could only try to contact his main body using the newly learned Mind Transfer Technique, and to his surprise, he actually succeeded.
Naruto, who was in the middle of a "fighting and criticism meeting," typed a question mark, left his seat for a moment, and then came back with a stack of books. His eyes darted around, and he took out two booklets from the books, threw them to the leaders of the two clans who were fighting, and said, "You two can leave now. Finish writing in these two books before dawn, and make sure your handwriting is as similar as possible."
The Senju and Uchiha troublemakers exchanged bewildered glances, holding a notebook that looked like a student's homework, the cover bearing the Konoha mark. Could there be some deeper meaning in this assignment? Was their leader not going to convey it directly to them, but rather let them figure it out themselves?
"Don't just stand there, there are only eight hours until dawn."
The two troublemakers vanished in a flash; their skills were indeed impressive, befitting their reputation as troublemakers.
The others were completely bewildered, unable to understand what new tricks their leader was up to. Only Fugaku, who knew Naruto's identity and the current start date of the Ninja Academy, was speechless.
"Is this a new punishment?" asked Hashirama, the representative of the Senju clan.
No, he just wanted to find someone to help him with his homework. Fugaku thought to himself.
"Young people, let them toughen up. Let's continue the meeting, who's next?" Naruto sat down casually, still scribbling in a booklet. Battle analysis was completely beneath him; he was a master on the battlefield, but utterly useless when it came to tactics. He was only sitting here to uphold fairness for both clans. Summarizing was something for those who were truly skilled!
However, the four seniors who heard this were speechless. Although Naruto had never hidden his specialness, judging from his actual age, none of them were younger than him. How could he say the word "young man" without batting an eye?
A "young man" steeled himself and stood up, picked up his prepared remarks, and mustered the courage to break the silence in the conference room, "Well then, I will now give my presentation..."
In short, the meeting proceeded smoothly.
"You're saying the textbook has fundamental problems?" Tobirama founded the Ninja Academy, and he was the first to pick up a book and flip through it.
Naruto listed the questions he had in mind from the booklet and said, "The textbook is instructing ninjas to completely obey orders and not to have any thoughts of resisting the system. They are demanding meaningless sacrifices from ninjas. That doesn't seem right."
Hashirama frowned the most and immediately objected, "Of course that's wrong. The original purpose of establishing the ninja village was to better protect ninjas, and the mission grading system was created for that purpose."
So, to what extent was Konoha corroded that this kind of thing would appear so clearly on a child's homework?
Tobirama took a deep breath, pressed down on Naruto's shoulder, and said, "Naruto, the plan needs to be changed slightly."
"Ok?"
"You must become Hokage as soon as possible and reform Konoha. Otherwise, I fear those traitors will ruin Konoha."
"what?"
"The fifth generation probably won't make it, but we can try for the sixth generation."
"what!?"
