Chapter 136 Merry Christmas
Chapter 136 Merry Christmas
December arrived quickly, and the deans of each college would write down the list of students who would stay on campus instead of going home for Christmas.
I plan to go back home to spend Christmas with Riddle and my older brother this semester.
It just so happened that Severus had to go on a long trip during the holidays, and I told him that I would be spending Christmas with Gellert Grindelwald, so he approved my departure.
Today is Christmas Day, and I felt a bit cold when I woke up early this morning. It seemed like it was snowing heavily outside.
"Merry Christmas, Senior Ayers!" I had just gotten up and sat up when my three junior classmates woke up as well. They greeted me with "Merry Christmas" as soon as they saw me.
"Merry Christmas to you too," I greeted them with a smile.
Then we all started packing our luggage. We had all applied to go home for Christmas today, so we were packing our luggage while we were packing our own things.
After packing our things, we each took our luggage, boarded sleds, and headed to the Hogwarts Express to catch the train back.
It seems like Ron is the only Weasley who didn't go home this year; he just wanted to spend Christmas with Harry, while his brothers all went with me.
We were in the same carriage again, chatting as we waited to go home.
Meanwhile, on Christmas Eve, Harry received a mysterious gift.
The gift was a package containing a sweater and a letter.
The sweater was knitted for Harry by his mother, Lily Potter, before he was born, and the letter was written to him by his father, James Potter, before he left.
Harry looked at the sweater and the letter, his heart filled with emotion and warmth.
On Christmas Day, Harry and Ron attended the Christmas dinner together in the Great Hall of Hogwarts.
At the dinner, Harry and Ron enjoyed delicious food together and watched a wonderful performance.
Harry felt very happy and joyful; he felt like he had found home at Hogwarts.
Harry's first Christmas at Hogwarts was one of the most unforgettable Christmases of his life.
He received gifts not only from his parents but also from his friends.
He felt very happy and joyful, and he felt like he had found home at Hogwarts.
After parting ways with Gemini and the others, I dragged my suitcase and 'appaported' back to my front door.
'Knock, knock, knock' I wrote a letter before I came back and had it delivered by owl. Riddle should have received it by now.
"Welcome home." It was Riddle who opened the door, took my suitcase, and led me into the house.
"It's so cold outside. Have you prepared dinner yet?" I hung my coat on the coat rack by the door and took off my earmuffs and hat to hang them up as well.
“As you requested, we didn’t prepare roast chicken, but we did prepare hot pot.” Riddle always listened to me; he didn’t think my request was unreasonable, and he would satisfy my cravings for whatever I wanted to eat.
“I’m not a believer, but I think eating hot pot on a day like this, when families reunite, is the best thing to do.” I followed Riddle to the table.
“Very well, none of us are believers, but I’m very interested in your hot pot.” Gellert Grindelwald didn’t believe in God; he only believed in himself. However, he had never actually eaten hot pot before.
When I lived with Riddle, we would occasionally have a treat or even eat hot pot together, so when I wrote to him, he could immediately prepare the ingredients.
"That's good, we can start eating now, I'm hungry." I picked up my bowl and chopsticks and prepared my condiments.
"Here, you can eat now." Riddle skillfully put the slices of meat in, and once they were cooked through, he put them in my bowl.
“Oh, this is really good. Riddle, why didn’t you bring it out to eat like this sooner?” Gellert Grindelwald followed suit and picked up a piece of meat from the pot to eat. He had been living with Riddle for a while and had even learned to use chopsticks.
"Come on, eat quickly." Seeing that Riddle only added meat for me and didn't add any for himself, I directly fed the meat pieces with seasoning in the bowl to Riddle's mouth.
He smiled as he put the piece of meat in his mouth. "I picked it for you, how could I refuse?"
Even the lonely Gellert Grindelwald would roll his eyes at the sight of us.
"Stop being so lovey-dovey, you two. Hurry up and eat, or I'll finish it all." Gellert Grindelwald said irritably, putting down a plate of meat slices for himself.
"There's nothing we can do, someone just doesn't have anyone to feed them," I joked, amused.
"You two can leave me alone today and let me have a pleasant holiday." Gellert Grindelwald was truly speechless this time.
"Eat up, I only came back to spend Christmas with you guys because you're all alone." I scooped up another piece of meat for Riddle and stuffed it into his mouth.
Finally, Riddle put meat slices on my plate, and I fed him meat slices, and then we ate our fill.
Gellert Grindelwald was the one who put the food in to cook, and he barely ate any before Riddle took it all.
I could only eat half full myself, and seeing Gellert Grindelwald's pitiful state, I stuffed the remaining vegetables into his bowl one by one with my chopsticks.
"Eat more vegetables, that's good for your health." As a result, Gellert Grindelwald was stuffed full of vegetables by me.
"Are you really my brother? How can you treat your own brother like this?" Gellert Grindelwald finished his vegetables, put down his chopsticks, and stared at me curiously.
"What? Am I not your brother? Then pay for what you just ate and get out of my house." No need to be particularly friendly to Gellert Grindelwald; he just likes it when I tease him like this.
"What's ingested has already been digested and can't be vomited up." How could Gellert Grindelwald possibly leave my house? He's become so addicted to Riddle's cooking that he can't get enough of it. His palate has been spoiled by his brother's excellent training.
Leaving is absolutely out of the question. When my younger brother is home, I should still give in to him. He's my own son, so I have to spoil him even if he cries.
"Are you done eating? I'll go clean up." Riddle finally put down his chopsticks and asked me if I had finished eating.
"I'm full, I can clean up now. Brother, shouldn't you help me?" There's no way I'll wash the dishes. Ever since I taught Riddle to cook, I've been determined not to cook or wash dishes in front of him. Why should I do it myself when someone else can cook for me?
“Let’s do it together.” Gellert Grindelwald knew that as long as I was home, I was the most important person in the house, and he and Riddle had no choice but to obey me.
Watching two handsome guys washing dishes together is such a pleasing sight; I could watch it every day without getting tired of it.
