Chapter 23: Fighting Usopp?
Chapter 23: Fighting Usopp?
The Black Cat Pirates' scout thought to himself, "Vice-Captain Zango, you've finally realized what's going on!"
The scout replied, "Reporting to the first mate, there is currently only one person on the naval warship."
???
Upon hearing the scout's praise, three questions raced through his mind.
There's only one person. That means I've been outsmarting thin air for so long, and now you're telling me there's only one person? Does that mean I'll just become a clown?
Zango gritted his teeth and said to the scout, "You useless piece of trash, why didn't you say so sooner?"
The scout thought to himself, "You need to give me a chance to answer!"
However, the scout still truthfully said, "First mate, didn't you say before that no one should interrupt you when you're speaking?"
Uh, Zango was speechless after the spy's words.
Zango, silenced by the spy, chose to skip the topic.
Zango coughed lightly and slowly said, "Since the other side only needs one Marine, what are we afraid of?"
"If things get out of hand, we'll just have to kill the navy first, then run away with the money with the captain. It's not a big deal."
Clearly, Zango mistook Minos for a member of the navy and saw him as a lamb to the slaughter.
But what Zango didn't expect was that Minos wasn't a navy man, nor was he a lamb to the slaughter; he was a man-eating dragon.
Minos slowly walked towards the village. When he was almost there, he met a boy with naturally curly hair and a long nose.
It was indeed Usopp. When Usopp saw the tall, imposing, handsome Minos in a black suit and cloak, he was terrified, but he still went to Minos's side and asked, "Excuse me, did you come from outside?"
Minos, seeing the cowardly Usopp, couldn't help but chuckle to himself: "As expected of one of the Straw Hat Pirates' cowardly trio, huh?"
Minos replied, "I come from outside, and I'm here to find you and a group of pirates."
"Looking for me?" Usopp asked, puzzled. "I've never seen you before, so why are you looking for me?"
Then Usopp hurriedly asked, "And what do you mean by that group of pirates? Are there pirates in our village?"
Seeing Usopp's confused and flustered look, Minos laughed loudly: "I came to find you because I don't like you, and I'll teach you a lesson while I'm at it. As for pirates, there are indeed some, and one of them is your childhood friend Kaya's butler, who is a pirate."
At this point, Usopp didn't have time to ask why Minos knew him, knew Miss Kaya, and knew that Kaya's butler was a pirate.
Usopp was even more frightened after hearing Minos's words. He hadn't expected this man to be so ruthless as to want to teach him a lesson, but he had never even seen him before.
Another thing is that Kaya's butler is actually a pirate, and he is very afraid that Kaya will be harmed.
Before Usopp could say anything more, Minos punched him right in the face.
Minos knocked Usopp unconscious with just one punch. Of course, Minos controlled his power, otherwise Usopp would have been gone with one punch.
Looking at Usopp lying on the ground, Minos shook his head: "5000 kill points, you shouldn't die like this, otherwise you'll really be too useless."
Ignoring Usopp on the ground, Minos went straight to a beautiful little villa.
That's right, this is the home of Kaya, Usopp's beloved.
Minos used his Observation Haki to scan the area, and instantly the entire villa and its inhabitants came into view.
There were only two people in the villa at that moment. One was Kaya, and the other was Kro, disguised as the butler.
Kaya lay in a room on the second floor, looking haggard as she gazed at the scenery outside the window, lost in thought.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen on the first floor, Kro seemed to be brewing something, probably medicine to treat Kaya's illness.
Minos, witnessing this heartbreaking and touching scene, simply couldn't bear to disturb it...
So Mino thought, why not greet him with a black dragon's roar? (^v^)
Keke, get back to business.
Minos pushed the door open and entered, seeing Kuro still diligently brewing medicine, he said, "I really feel bad for you. How can a pirate disguise himself to such an extent, even lowering himself to be a butler?"
While brewing the medicine, Klo was still thinking, "Why isn't Kaya dead yet?"
Suddenly, a voice came from behind him saying that his identity had been exposed, which made Kro freeze.
At the same time, he was extremely shocked: "When did he arrive? How come he didn't notice at all? And when was his identity exposed?"
Suppressing his shock, Kro slowly turned around and saw a young man with long gray-purple hair, a cold expression, wearing a black suit and a black cloak of justice.
At that moment, Kuro thought it was all over. Hadn't he faked his death as a pirate? How could the Navy have discovered him and found him here?
Clearly, Kro also mistook Minos for a member of the navy.
Kuro tried to struggle a bit more and hurriedly said, "That Marine, are you sure you're not mistaken? He's just a butler, not the pirate you're talking about."
Ah!
Minos was amused to see that Kro mistook him for a Marine. He hadn't expected to be mistaken for a Marine by mistake; it was quite interesting.
If anyone knew what Minos was thinking, they would definitely say, "Brother, look at yourself! You're wearing a black suit and a 'Justice' cloak. Even though it's black, you still look a lot like a Marine!"
Seeing that Kuro was still pretending to be stupid, Minos bluntly said, "Kuro! The former captain of the Black Cat Pirates, but because he was tired of the pirate life, he faked his death to escape the Navy's pursuit. After injuring Navy Captain Morgan, he had Django hypnotize him so that he would think that Kuro was dead."
“Indeed, you guys played that trick very well,” Minos said, praising Kro.
Then Minos slowly began to speak: "Then Kro transformed into a butler to help Kaya manage the household affairs. During their time together, Kro discovered that Miss Kaya had a lot of wealth, so he planned to seize her wealth after Miss Kaya died."
"Tell me, am I right? Chloe?"
Kro was in a state of shock; he hadn't expected the person in front of him to know him so well.
Even the fact that he had recently hypnotized Colonel Monka with Zango, and the fact that he had just assumed the identity of a butler, were now known to the person in front of him.
This puzzled Kro. What went wrong? Had Zango betrayed him?
Unable to understand, Kro asked with a dark expression, "Who exactly are you, and why do you know me so well?"
Minos looked at Kro's gloomy face, but did not answer his question. Instead, he said something that Kro could not understand.
"Small fry should be aware of their worthiness of being small fry, and those with high kill counts should be aware of the value of killing?"
