Angers shrugged: "Some of the content is just my speculation. You won't even see it in the history textbooks in Kassel, since it hasn't been fully confirmed yet."
"So, Gao Kui is the holy son who once vied with the Black King for the throne?"
If Gao Kui is the holy son in the history of the dragon race, then it is entirely reasonable for Angers and Kassel to scheme against and target Gao Kui because of their respective positions.
Angers' expression was more serious than ever before: "Unfortunately, he is not."
Chapter 88 Holy Son
"The reality is much worse, ten million times, an infinite number of times? Perhaps even more."
Angers scratched his gray hair, looking troubled: "He is neither the Holy Son of the Dragon Clan nor the Holy Son of history."
According to research by the History Department of Kassel, aside from the Dragon Prince who may exist in the history of the Dragon Clan, there was also a hybrid prince in human history, namely Jesus.
There is currently countless pieces of evidence to prove that Jesus, who walked on the earth two thousand years ago, was a hybrid with an extremely powerful bloodline, just as many great figures in human history have dragon blood.
But none of them were true.
Gao Kui is neither the Holy Son of the Dragon Clan nor the historically hybrid Holy Son Jesus; he is the Holy Son recorded in the Bible, who came from the Kingdom of Heaven.
When Angers first realized this, he felt that his worldview and philosophy of life, built up over a hundred years of experience, had collapsed like twin towers.
This is crazy.
Jesus, who founded Christianity two thousand years ago, was actually of mixed race. God, the Son, the Hebrew mythology system, and Christianity are all projections of the true history of the Dragon Clan.
The Black King is real, and the history of the Dragon Clan is real. God and Jesus Christ are merely derivative works based on them.
This was Angers' previous understanding.
But then one day, everything was turned upside down.
God is the real one. The Holy Son who spreads His gospel as the Son of Man and the Son of God, as recorded in the Bible, is the real one. The history of the Black King and the Dragon Clan is something created by borrowing some of their settings.
A generous gift crab!
I f*** you!
Angers was as shocked and skeptical as countless other students in Kassel who were learning about the existence of hybrids and dragons for the first time... until that being showed him a miracle beyond his comprehension, and only then did he accept it all.
"It is not good?"
Chu Zihang didn't understand why Angers thought that Gao Kui was the true Holy Son, which was a terrible thing.
"Nothing could be worse than this."
Angers solemnly explained what kind of existence Gao Kui was: "He is not the Son of God in the materialist view of history, nor the Son of God in the view of history of mixed races, nor the Son of God in the history of the dragon race. He is the Son of God recorded in the Bible, the Son of God in Christian theology."
In current orthodox Christian theology, he is a Trinity with God, nominally the Son of God, but essentially the same God, a being of equal status.
What God can do, He can do as well. Should I explain to you the Vatican's official explanation of the God paradox, that is, what the "religious God" means?
“No need.” Chu Zihang shook his head; he understood the concept of a “religious God.”
There is a well-known God paradox on the internet: Can God create a stone that even He Himself cannot lift?
Whether it is possible or not, it seems to prove that God is not omnipotent. Many people who have no understanding of Christian theology also use similar paradoxes to ridicule God.
But actually?
Throughout history, countless theologians have debated the omniscience and omnipotence of God, the humanity and divinity of Jesus, and even just a single sentence or word in the Bible. This is similar to how Confucian scholars in Chinese history would argue endlessly about how to interpret a particular passage in the Four Books and Five Classics.
This paradox of God has long been resolved: God's omniscience and omnipotence transcend all known human logic, and this is the Church's explanation of God's omniscience and omnipotence.
The concepts of "cannot" and "cannot," as well as paradoxes, are merely a kind of "logic" or "concept" within the scope of human understanding. However, logic and concepts were created by God.
The religious God is such a being.
Besides the religious God, there is also the philosophical God and the physical God.
There's also a long-standing rumor circulating on the internet that Newton became obsessed with theological studies in his later years. In fact, Newton was a Christian from childhood, and he dedicated his life to the study of theology.
He simply devoted some of his time to studying science at some point in his life.
Newton's first, second, and third laws tell us the laws governing the world and the universe. Later generations have continued to advance on the path of understanding the physical laws of the universe, building upon Newton's work.
With classical mechanics, relativity, and quantum mechanics, humanity has gained a clearer understanding of the underlying logic of the universe's operation.
So who set all of this up? Who generated the "first push" that turned everything from stillness to motion?
The answer is "God," the physical God, which is why countless scientists firmly believe that "god" truly exists.
According to the latest interpretations of the Church’s debates over the years, the religious God encompasses and is far greater than the physical God.
"It seems you know what a religious God is like."
Angers' tone grew increasingly powerless: "In the mainstream view of the church today, the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are the Trinity, and the Son and the Father are equal persons."
When such a being decides to do something you believe is wrong, how do you stop it?
Fuck!
With such a powerful and domineering existence, how could humans and hybrids possibly resist it? How could they possibly defy the power of the Holy Son?
Impossible. When the Holy Son truly decides to do something he should do, no one can stop him.
Black King, White King, Four Kings, Hybrid Monarchs—all these problems that have plagued Angers for centuries seem insignificant compared to this.
If we're really going to debate this, then the Black King, this "Dragon God," is infinitely far removed from a religious God or a religious saint in terms of scale and power.
Known universe, infinite multiverse, infinite box, time, narrative layer, logic... Any existence known to humankind is a creation of the [Religious God], while the [Dragon God] is merely a powerful being that rules the Earth for a certain period of time.
Against the latter, Angers can still make some moves, but against the former, there is truly no room for maneuver or resistance.
If the Son of God can be stopped from doing what he decides to do, there can only be two reasons.
First, the Son of God did not intend to do this in an absolute sense. That is, from God's perspective, it was destined that mortals would stop the Son of God.
Second, what stopped the Son was a being of equal status to the Son.
"Why should I stop Gao Kui? I have no reason to stand against him. He is the Holy Son, isn't he..." Chu Zihang felt that Angers was meddling in other people's business.
Even he, an unbeliever who didn't know much about Christian theology, knew what a good person Jesus was.
Firstly, there is no need to disobey the Holy Son, and secondly, there is no way to disobey him. Under such circumstances, to still regard the Holy Son as a hypothetical enemy is simply insane.
"I knew you would say that."
Angers shook his head: "Jesus, as recorded in the New Testament, was indeed an indisputable good man. His actions, whether as a man or as a god, can be described as good deeds."
But I never said that Gao Kui was Jesus. At least, he wasn't *completely* Jesus in the sense that most people would understand.
Chapter 89 The Last Judgment
Chu Zihang frowned slightly, looking at Angers with a puzzled expression. To be honest, he couldn't understand what Angers was saying, and even began to doubt whether Angers was speaking a human language.
First, Angers acknowledges the Holy Trinity of Jesus Christ. As is widely known, the Holy Trinity in Christianity is represented by Jesus.
Based on this, Angers actually said that Gao Kui was not Jesus?
"There was a very famous emperor in Chinese history named Li Longji, also known as Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty."
I don't think I need to tell you about Emperor Xuanzong of Tang; you, as a Chinese, should know more about him than I, a foreigner.
Angers, a genuine English rogue, speaking fluent Mandarin, suddenly began introducing Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, Li Longji, to Chu Zihang.
Chu Zihang listened quietly without saying a word. He knew that Angers had suddenly brought up Li Longji because he wanted to clarify some issues.
"One of the most famous characteristics of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang is that he was wise at first but became foolish later."
During the early part of his reign, Li Longji rectified past wrongs and worked diligently to govern the country, creating the prosperous Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty. He is one of the exemplary wise rulers in Chinese history.
In his later years, Li Longji became obsessed with women and neglected state affairs. He relied heavily on eunuchs and trusted treacherous officials, which solidified the growth of local armed forces and directly led to the An Lushan Rebellion, which caused the Tang Dynasty to decline from its peak.
Whether it was the diligent and ambitious Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, the negligent Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, or the lurking Li Sanlang before his ascension to the throne, they were all undoubtedly Li Longji, and this cannot be denied or changed.
but……"
Angers then changed the subject and posed a question to Chu Zihang: "From a metaphysical perspective, considering personality, style, attitude towards politics, and so on, are Li Sanlang, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, and Emperor Xuanzong of Tang really the same person?"
Chu Zihang fell into deep thought; this was indeed a question worth considering.
From a purely biological and materialistic perspective, all three are undoubtedly the same person. However, their personalities, styles, and worldviews exhibit differences that resemble a split personality.
The difference is so great that if Li Longji were divided into three people according to his life stages—Li Sanlang, Emperor Minghuang, and Emperor Xuanzong—and they were allowed to meet, the Li Longjis from different periods would probably fight like dogs.
Angers continued, "For the people of Tang Dynasty who lived during that period, these three had completely different meanings, even though they were all Li Longji."
If the people of the Tang Dynasty had to choose one of these three emperors to rule them, even if they chose ten thousand times, the final answer would still not be Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, Li Longji.
Similar problems exist with the [Holy Son].
The Son of God in the common people's understanding is Jesus, who was active in the ancient Israel region two thousand years ago, and is the Jesus recorded in the New Testament and various Christian scriptures.
In terms of time, this corresponds to Jesus within a few decades after the year 1 AD. Analogously, it's similar to Li Longji, perhaps Li Sanlang or Li Longji during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang.
But Gao Kui is the Son of God's Second Coming. From God's perspective, he is no different from Jesus two thousand years ago. Both are Sons of the Trinity and are the same being.
But from a human perspective—I mean, from the perspective of you and me, and billions of ordinary people on Earth—the Second Coming Son probably cannot be equated with Jesus; their missions are completely different.
Just as Li Longji at different stages of his life could not be equated with the people of the Tang Dynasty.
"From what you've said, the Second Holy Son seems to be some terrible being."
Li Longji in his later years was a disaster for the Tang Dynasty. Angers even used Li Longji in his later years as a metaphor for Gao Kui, which shows how bad Angers thought Gao Kui, this son who was supposed to be a second emperor.
"At least that's true for you and me."
Angers shrugged and then posed another question to Chu Zihang: "Have you ever been proselytized by Christians?"
"Had."
Chu Zihang nodded, recalling the past: "That was when I was very young. My family wasn't wealthy back then, at least not on the surface."
Every time the church near our home distributed eggs, my mother would take me to get some, and then the religious old lady would try to convert my mother and me to the church…”
Chu Zihang suddenly couldn't continue. He vaguely remembered that every time he went to collect eggs, the preaching old woman would ramble on about the end times, saying that only by believing in Jesus could one survive the end times...
"It seems you've noticed the most crucial point. Next, I will introduce you to the two most central concepts of Christianity recorded in the New Testament—the Second Coming of the Son and the Last Judgment."
Angers' tone and mood suddenly turned impassioned, like a priest in a church reciting verses from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament.
"Then I saw a great white throne and a person sitting on it. From him the heavens and the earth fled and there was nowhere to be seen."
