King Kurd's tail suddenly wrapped around Number 18's ankle: "You think I'm afraid of androids? Back then, Dr. Gro was in my eyes—" Before he could finish speaking, Number 18 had already grabbed his throat, energy seeping into his veins through her fingertips: "If you say another word, I'll turn you into interstellar junk." Her mechanical pupils flashed with data streams, "If you don't speak within three seconds, I'll tear you to pieces."
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Lin Ye retreated behind the rock pillar, and a countdown popped up on the system interface. He stared at Number 18's fluttering clothes, and suddenly a thought struck him: [System, copy her energy absorption skill! How long will it take?]
[Insufficient host level; forced copying will result in—]
[Enough with the nonsense!] Lin Ye bit his tongue, and the moment the blue light condensed in his palm, Number 18 suddenly turned his head and looked over, a subtle smile curving his lips.
“I’ll tell you!” King Kurd’s throat gurgled. “Three months ago… a hooded fellow came to me and said he could make Frieza’s army immortal…” His trembling hand pointed to the sky. “Their ships are in orbit around Jupiter, and they’re using… the energy reaction of Earth’s dragon!”
Number 18's pupils constricted sharply as an energy beam pierced King Kurd's shoulder in an instant: "You're lying! The Earth Dragon was already—"
"I'm not lying!" Frieza suddenly erupted, golden flames scattering across the entire desert. "I saw their energy core with my own eyes, it's exactly the same as the Namekian Dragon Balls!" His tail wrapped around Lin Ye's neck. "This kid's teleportation can locate spaceships, take us there! Otherwise, I'll crush his head—"
"Let him go." Number 18's voice suddenly turned cold, energy condensing into a diamond-shaped matrix in his palm. "You think I wouldn't dare kill you?"
Lin Ye felt the tightness in his throat and suddenly laughed out loud: "Androids can save people? Legend has it that you can even dismantle your own energy reactor and sell it for money." He deliberately let the blue light of the copying skill leak out, "However... the energy absorption technique you just used seems to be different from Dr. Gro's design?"
Number 18 raised an eyebrow: "Oh? You've seen my design drawings?"
"Not only have I seen it," Lin Ye said, conjuring an energy ball identical to hers at his fingertips, "but I also know that every time you use your superpowers, it consumes the lifespan of your artificial organs—for example, right now, your right iris has already developed a crack, hasn't it?"
Frieza's tail suddenly loosened: "What? Her weakness is—"
"Shut up." Android 18 blasted Frieza away with a backhand, golden energy forming armor on his body. "Earthling, who exactly are you?"
Lin Ye wiped away his cold sweat and backed away. The system notification read: [Skill copy successful, current available uses: 1]. He glanced at the Kurdish King healing in the distance and suddenly pointed to the sky: "How about dealing with the external enemy first? Anyway, your target is that spaceship."
After a three-second silence, No. 18 suddenly grabbed his wrist and leaped into the air: "Remember, if you dare to play any tricks—" her fingertips pressed against his back, "I'll dig out your heart and use it as a football."
"Same here." Lin Ye activated his teleportation ability, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw blood at the corner of Android 18's lips—it turned out that her internal organs had been damaged when she took Frieza's attack head-on. This discovery made his palms slightly sweaty, but at that moment, the system issued an abnormal notification: [Energy fluctuations of Android 18 have been detected to be of the same origin as the host. Deep scan recommended.]
"We've arrived." Lin Ye abruptly stopped. Beneath Jupiter's dark red clouds, a spaceship covered in Namekian runes was slowly deploying its energy shield. Number 18's mechanical pupils suddenly turned completely red. She released her grip and staggered backward: "Impossible... this energy fluctuation... it's unlike what Dr. Gro extracted back then—"
"Welcome to the Death Party." The hooded man emerged from the top of the spaceship, holding a green sphere in his palm that was the fusion of the seven Dragon Balls. "Android 18, and the remnants of the Saiyans, your cells will become the nourishment for my evolution."
Lin Ye felt a chill run through his body, as if all the blood had been drained away. The system frantically issued an alarm: [Warning! Spacetime paradox energy detected! Target character involved in altering the main storyline!] He subconsciously grasped Number 18's hand, only to find her fingertips trembling—this android, who had never shown fear before, now had terror reflected in her pupils.
"Back when you blew up the lab, I said I'd be back." The hooded man raised his hand, and Lin Ye and Android 18 were simultaneously pulled towards the spaceship by invisible chains. "Now, let me see just how much pain a cyborg fused with Saiyan cells can endure—"
"Let her go!" Lin Ye roared, unleashing an energy wave, only to have it easily crushed by the hooded man. Suddenly, Android 18 broke free of her chains, shoving him in the opposite direction: "Go! Go tell Bulma..." Her body was sucked into the ship's energy shield, her voice fading, "tell her that Dr. Gro's legacy isn't just mine!"
Lin Ye gritted his teeth and activated teleportation. His last glimpse was of Number 18 making a gesture at him—a common "get lost" gesture on Earth, but against the backdrop of blood at the corner of her mouth, it inexplicably carried a tragic air of desperate gamble.
A Jupiter storm swept past, and Lin Ye landed on the rooftop of the Capsule Company in Xidu, his palm still warm from Number 18's touch. A new notification suddenly popped up on the system interface: [Hidden Clue Obtained: Project 0 for Artificial Humans]. He gazed at the rolling dark clouds in the sky, recalling the data stream that flashed in Number 18's pupils—that string of numbers was clearly the coordinates of Dr. Gro's laboratory.
"Next time we meet, I'll save you." He murmured softly, the energy ball gathering at his fingertips reflecting his blood-stained face. "Whether you're human or machine, I should at least thank you for saving my life."
A siren wailed in the distance, and Lin Ye turned and leaped into the night. Meanwhile, inside the spaceship orbiting Jupiter, Number 18 was strapped into the incubation chamber. The hooded figure pulled back its hood, revealing a face identical to Dr. Gro's: "Welcome home, my perfect creation—this time, you can't escape."
Chapter 10: The God of Destruction's Attention
The energy ripples from Lin Ye's confrontation with Number 18 hadn't even dissipated when the entire sky was suddenly swallowed by a pitch-black vortex. The clouds twisted into the shape of a giant pupil at a visible speed. Beerus yawned lazily and followed Whis as he stepped out from the center of the vortex, the air beneath his feet cracking like shattered glass.
King Cold collapsed to the ground instantly, his tail trembling and curling up like a snake that had been stepped on: "Lord Beerus! Please calm down! It's all the fault of the Saiyan remnants!" His voice was shrill and shattered as his forehead slammed heavily against the gravel, the blood droplets that splattered hovering in the air as if frozen by an invisible force.
Beerus's purple eyes swept across the battlefield, and King Cold was instantly pressed into the ground by an invisible pressure, even Frieza's golden scales cracked. When his gaze fell on Lin Ye, the hair on the back of the boy's neck stood on end, and the system alarm blared painfully: [Warning! God-level energy fluctuation detected! Current survival rate: 17%]
“It’s you?” Beerus strode forward, each step causing the ground to crack like a spiderweb. “In just three months, you’ve gone from a complete weakling to someone who can beat a cosmic emperor into a pig’s head.” He suddenly reached out and grabbed Lin Ye’s chin, his nails almost piercing the skin. “Anyone who disrupts the balance of the universe should be crushed into dust.”
Lin Ye's temples throbbed, and sweat trickled down his back and into his waistband. He gritted his teeth and forced a smile: "If becoming stronger is a crime, then I'd rather be the most outrageous criminal!" As soon as he finished speaking, a purple energy ball condensed at Beerus's fingertip was already pressed against his brow, the burning sensation causing his eyelashes to curl instantly.
At the critical moment, Android 18 suddenly stepped between the two, her silver hair whipping wildly in the energy storm: "Wait! Lord Beerus!" Her mechanical pupils flashed with data streams, "A third-party ship is in Jupiter's orbit, and this kid can pinpoint its location with teleportation—"
“A third party?” Beerus raised an eyebrow, the energy ball dissipating into stardust. “A piece of trash that even Frieza couldn’t handle?” He turned to look at the trembling cosmic emperor, then suddenly stomped on King Cold’s tail. “It seems your family’s dominance is less than that of ants on Earth.”
Frieza trembled, but forced a fawning smile: "My lord, please understand! We are victims too! The enemy used... the power of Shenron!" These words made Beerus's ears perk up instantly, and Whis's expression also became unusually serious.
Lin Ye seized the opportunity to wipe away a cold sweat, but the system then frantically popped up a window: [Detected God-level skill "Destruction Energy"! Should we consume 10 points to force analysis?] He gritted his teeth and closed the notification, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Number 18 secretly making a "three" gesture at him - that was the code they had just reached.
“Interesting.” Beerus suddenly snapped his fingers, and time seemed to freeze across the entire battlefield. Only he, Whis, Lin Ye, and Android 18 remained mobile. “Homunculus, you actually protect a human.” He lifted Android 18’s chin with his fingertip. “Does Dr. Gro know that his prized creation has learned to betray?”
Number 18 slapped Beerus's hand away, sparks flying from the metal joints: "I only do what's in my own interest." She pointed to the system interface that suddenly appeared behind Lin Ye, "His cheat can track any energy fluctuation, including the location of your dessert storage, Lord God of Destruction—"
"Shut up!" Beerus blushed, startling Whis so much that he almost dropped the pudding in his arms. Lin Ye seized the opportunity to activate his newly copied skill, his body displaying the same energy absorption patterns as Android 18: "How about this, give me three months." He deliberately amplified the system's voice: [New Mission: Annihilate a third-party force under the watchful eye of the God of Destruction! Reward: God-level defensive shield] "If I can't do it, will you crush my head and turn it into a watermelon?"
Beerus stared at Lin Ye's system interface with a puzzled look, then turned to Weiss: "Is this the Earth technology you were talking about?" The angel elegantly sipped his tea: "It seems more interesting than I imagined." He suddenly raised his hand, and time began to flow again. Frieza's screams and King Cold's pleas for mercy exploded instantly.
“I want to see an interesting performance in three months.” Beerus yawned, and the vortex beneath his feet reappeared. “If I find out you’re secretly eating takoyaki…” His eyes suddenly sharpened, and Lin Ye’s clothes instantly ripped open with three holes. “Earth can just wait to say goodbye to Pudding.”
Watching the God of Destruction disappear, Lin Ye's legs went weak and he knelt on the ground, belatedly realizing that his underwear was soaked with cold sweat. The system notification sounded at just the right moment: [Ding! New dungeon "Cell Games" opens ahead of schedule! Hidden quest triggered: Investigate Beerus's connection with a third-party force!] He clenched his fists, his nails digging crescent-shaped bloody marks into his palms.
In the distance, Number 18 walked over and kicked his butt: "Aren't you getting up?" She tossed him a recovery capsule. "I recorded a 73% fluctuation frequency of the destructive energy Beerus just used." She suddenly lowered her voice, a strange red light flashing in her mechanical pupils. "But there's something you'd better know—I detected Dr. Gro's life signs on the third-party ship."
These words made Lin Ye's blood freeze instantly. He looked up towards Jupiter, where the clouds were writhing eerily, as if some terrifying being was about to awaken. Meanwhile, in Beerus's temple, the God of Destruction suddenly crushed his teacup, the purple liquid flowing across the ground and forming the outline of a mechanical life form: "Interesting. It seems this farce is about to get even more exciting."
Chapter 11: The Butterfly Effect
The deafening roar made Lin Ye's eardrums ache, and the energy waves churned deep, bottomless trenches into the distant desert. Cell, who was supposed to absorb Android 18 according to the script, was now laughing maniacally, gripping Android 17 by the neck, the metal skeleton twisting and contorting under its weight. "Who gave you permission to interfere?" Lin Ye suddenly grabbed Chen Yang's collar, the system's frantically flashing alarm almost blinding him—[Warning! Major shift in the world line!]
Chen Yang shook off his hand, his tactical goggles reflecting Cell's eerie green light: "According to the original plot, Cell only evolved to the second stage after absorbing Android 17. Now, the Golden Form has been triggered ahead of schedule. There must be something strange about this!" Before he finished speaking, Cell's body suddenly swelled to three times its original size, with purple-gold scales covering his entire body and black lightning powerful enough to tear space wrapped around his tail spike.
"This is impossible!" Trunks' lightsaber sparked as it scraped against Cell's scales. "His aura... is even more terrifying than a God of Destruction!" Cell casually swung his arm, blasting the boy directly into the rock layer, revealing shocking cracks in his armor amidst the flying debris.
Lin Ye's nails dug deeply into his palms as the system's mechanical voice exploded in his mind: [Urgent Mission: Collect seven Super Dragon Balls within 72 hours! Failure to complete this mission will result in the complete collapse of the current universe due to energy rampage!] The "God-level Skill Fragment" flashing in the reward section made his pupils shrink, but the words "Punishment: Annihilate the host" below the countdown coiled around his heart like a venomous snake.
"Want the Dragon Balls? Ask me first!" Cell's voice came from all directions, and his golden tail spike pierced Krillin's shoulder in an instant. Master Roshi trembled as he raised his Universal Shock Palm, but the moment it touched the opponent's energy barrier, his five fingers turned to ashes. "Old man, your resistance is like ants trying to trip an elephant." Cell licked the blood from his fingertips, then suddenly turned to look at Lin Ye, "But the aura on your body... is quite interesting."
Cold sweat trickled down Lin Ye's spine as he quietly activated the energy absorption skill he had copied from Android 18. Cell, however, merely scoffed contemptuously. An energy blast grazed past his ear, creating a crater a hundred meters in diameter behind him: "Think you can challenge me just because you stole some Android skills? Naïve!"
"Not necessarily!" Android 18 suddenly swooped down from the sky, her mechanical arm conjuring a ki cannon that aimed straight at Cell's face. The golden monster neither dodged nor evaded, crushing the energy ball with her bare hands while her tail spike precisely pierced Cell's abdomen: "Scum." As Android 18 flew backward, Lin Ye saw a data stream flashing rapidly in her mechanical pupils—the coordinates of Dr. Gro's laboratory, perfectly matching the energy fluctuations on the third-party force's spaceship.
"Number 18!" Lin Ye's roar was drowned out by the roar of Cell's new attack. The entire desert began to boil; the pressure that Beerus's last descent hadn't been able to exert now felt tangible, making it hard for everyone to breathe. Vegeta's hair stood on end, but he still gritted his teeth and charged towards Cell: "Kakarot isn't here, so let me be the savior!"
"Overestimating yourself." Cell slapped him backhand, instantly extinguishing the golden aura of a Super Saiyan. Vegeta crashed through seven mountains before barely managing to steady himself, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth mixed with half a tooth.
"What do we do?" Bulma's voice came through the communicator, trembling with tears. "The Super Dragon Balls are scattered across six parallel universes. Even with the help of the Supreme Kai..." Her words were interrupted by Cell's maniacal laughter. The golden monster opened its blood-red maw, and within the pitch-black energy sphere, the reflection of the entire Earth was distorted and deformed.
"Want to save the Earth?" Cell's gaze swept over everyone, finally settling on Lin Ye's trembling fingertips. "Hand over the system you have, and I'll leave you with a whole corpse." The boy's heart skipped a beat. He finally understood why Cell had been staring at him the whole time—this villain, who was supposed to act according to the script, actually knew about the system's existence!
"Dream on!" Lin Ye activated Instant Teleportation, but the instant he appeared behind Cell, he was pierced through the left shoulder by Cell's tail spike. The excruciating pain nearly made him faint, but at that moment, a system notification popped up: [Host detected in near-death state, forcibly activating hidden function - Time Reversal (1/3)]
"Wait!" Chen Yang suddenly raised the detector he had snatched from the spaceship wreckage. "I discovered the energy reaction of the Super Dragon Balls in the Namek ruins! But..." His face turned pale. "The source of the reaction is moving away from the solar system at the speed of light."
Cell paused, and in the instant his tail spikes loosened, Lin Ye seized the opportunity to swallow the Senzu Bean. The golden monster narrowed its eyes and suddenly let out a deafening roar: "Interesting! Then I'll let you live for another 72 hours—" Its body began to fade, and its final whisper sent chills down everyone's spine, "But don't get your hopes up too high, after all... I also know the whereabouts of the Super Dragon Balls."
As Cell's presence completely vanished, the entire desert fell into a deathly silence. Lin Ye touched his still-bleeding wound, and a newly popped-up system quest made his pupils constrict: [Side Quest: Investigate why Cell knew about the system's existence. Reward: Unlock God-of-Destruction level intelligence] He looked up at the gradually darkening sky, the coordinates of six parallel universes flashing on his retina, and deep within one of those coordinates, a pair of eyes were staring at him from the darkness.
Chapter 12: Forming a Team
The metal door to Capsule Corporation's underground laboratory swung open with a loud bang, the screeching sound like rusty gears grinding in one's ear. Chen Yang stepped in, his tactical goggles reflecting Bulma's newly developed blue light, his eyes behind the lenses revealing both weariness and determination. The laboratory reeked of gunpowder, the walls still bearing the charred marks of Cell's last attack, and the ventilation ducts rattled intermittently, as if they might collapse at any moment.
Vegeta was wiping Cell's blood off his battle suit when he heard the noise. Without even looking up, he coldly snorted, "Earthling, if you don't have a way to defeat Cell, don't waste my time." His voice was icy and full of disdain. He wiped the blood off his suit with increasing force, and the rustling sound of the fabric against the fabric carried a hint of gritted teeth, as if he wanted to erase the shame Cell had brought him.
“That’s why I came to you.” Chen Yang ignored Vegeta’s attitude, his thumb rapidly sliding across the wristwatch-like terminal, and the holographic projection suddenly lit up. Amidst the flashing blue light, Android 18’s mechanical pupils were clearly visible in the projection, exuding a cold, metallic quality; the turning gears were even visible when his eyelids opened and closed. “And her, and—” As the words fell, the shadow suddenly twisted, and Piccolo’s green figure emerged from it. His arm was still wrapped in Namekian bandages, and with each step he took, green blood seeping from the wounds would spread across the ground like eerie vines. “The reincarnation of Piccolo Daimaō.”
With her arms crossed and her metal joints humming slightly, Android 18 raised an eyebrow at Chen Yang, her eyes full of doubt: "Why should I listen to you? You were the one who interfered without permission last time and caused Cell to evolve prematurely, weren't you?" Her tone was sarcastic, her body leaning slightly forward, her left foot already half a step back, as if ready to launch an attack at any moment, and even the heat dissipation vents of her mechanical heart began to emit tiny steam.
Chen Yang calmly placed a chip on the cracked lab bench. In an instant, data surged wildly in mid-air like a venomous snake breaking free of its cage, eventually forming a blue-glowing emblem of the Galactic Mercenaries, with purple patterns resembling the energy of a god of destruction flowing around its edges.
“Just based on this.” His voice was steady and powerful as he pulled up Cell’s latest energy fluctuation diagram. In the projection, the silhouette of the golden monster grinned maliciously, its scales rising and falling with its breath, each reflecting a chilling light. “His current fighting power is equivalent to three Super Saiyan 2nd level. But if we team up—” Chen Yang suddenly pointed to Vegeta, “your pride can unleash even greater power; Android 18’s infinite energy is the guarantee of sustained combat; Piccolo’s regenerative ability can turn the tide of battle at crucial moments, plus Bulma’s advanced technology…”
"Wait!" Vegeta suddenly interrupted, his tail tip slapping the ground impatiently. "Why should you, an Earthling, give orders? You'd be better off killing me than making me obey the weak!" His aura began to leak out uncontrollably, causing the rubble on the ground to float in the air.
Just then, Bulma rushed in, pushing a cart full of instruments. Her ponytail swayed with her movements, her face still smudged with oil, and her goggles hung askew on her head. "Stop arguing! This is a newly developed combat power detector, want to try it out?" Without waiting for a reply, she pointed the instrument at Vegeta, and the screen immediately displayed the number "**". "Not bad, Vegeta, you've improved since last time," Bulma teased, casually stuffing the fallen wrench back into her pocket.
When it was Chen Yang's turn, the detector suddenly emitted a piercing alarm, its red lights flashed wildly, and the machine shook violently, almost causing Bulma to lose her grip. Three question marks flashed incessantly on the screen, accompanied by a stream of garbled data. Vegeta instantly closed in, the airflow from his battle suit overturning the blueprints on the table. He grabbed Chen Yang by the collar, their noses almost colliding: "This is impossible! What are you? A monster? Or a new android?" Chen Yang was lifted off the ground, his Adam's apple bobbing with difficulty, but he remained calm, merely twitching the corner of his mouth into a meaningful smile: "The important thing isn't me, but our goal—to collect the Super Dragon Balls and defeat Cell before he destroys the universe."
Piccolo remained silent for a long time, his green eyes fixed on Chen Yang, pupils slightly contracted as if conducting some kind of scan. Finally, he spoke slowly, his voice hoarse like sandpaper: "I'll join. But if I find out you have ulterior motives..." His fingers flashed across Chen Yang's neck like lightning, leaving a faint bloodstain. The moment the skin split open, a flash of blue light appeared from the wound, "...I will personally deal with you."
The lab lights flickered suddenly, and amidst the hum of the emergency power supply, Android 18 stared at Chen Yang's back, her mechanical heart unusually beating faster. Unaware of her own presence, a hint of curiosity and inquiry unconsciously flickered in her eyes, her fingers idly stroking the energy interface on her arm. Vegeta, meanwhile, released Chen Yang, letting out a cold snort: "Don't think you can defeat Cell just because you have a team. I won't cooperate with a bunch of weaklings." But the glint in his eyes betrayed his inner anticipation, and his tail even swayed slightly involuntarily.
Chen Yang rubbed his neck, which was aching from being gripped, and chuckled softly. "Then let's wait and see what kind of power this team can unleash." His voice echoed in the laboratory, as if announcing the beginning of a new legend. Meanwhile, deep within the laboratory's ventilation ducts, a miniature camera flashed red, transmitting everything happening here in real-time to a mysterious location. In the monitor's view, as Chen Yang turned, a faint, otherworldly light flashed through his tactical goggles.
Chapter 13: First Exploration of the Sixth Universe
The clouds in the Supreme Kai's World suddenly churned violently like boiling water, and a massive purple vortex rapidly formed within them. Champa's signature large trunk emerged from the vortex first, long drool still hanging from it, dripping onto the ground and instantly corroding deep, smoking pits. His tiny, beady eyes were fixed on Bulma's meticulously prepared feast, and his fat hands impatiently slammed onto the table, shouting, "Food? You think you can trade this crappy Earth cuisine for information on the Super Dragon Balls?"
"Don't rush, Lord Champa." Chen Yang calmly stepped forward, raising his hand to instantly form an energy barrier that firmly blocked Champa's hand. He picked up a uniquely shaped knife and cut into a slice of Senzu Bean Cake that radiated a soft glow. Instantly, a rich and enticing sweet aroma filled the entire space like a tide. "Try this first—this is a dessert infused with the power of the Supreme Kai. One bite will restore thirty percent of your stamina."
Champa's small eyes widened instantly, his previous dissatisfaction and arrogance vanished. He grabbed a piece of cake, stuffed it into his mouth, getting cream all over his face and white crumbs on his beard, and mumbled, "Any more? Any more? Give me some more! This is absolutely amazing!"
Just then, a golden light streaked across the sky, and Gabe's figure instantly teleported in from afar. His waist armor was still covered in dust from the battle, and his clothes were tattered, clearly indicating he had just been through a fierce fight. "Lord Champa! The people of Universe Seven are indeed—" Gabe's words were interrupted by Chen Yang's sudden burst of power.
Purple lightning coalesced at Chen Yang's fingertips as he coldly stared at Cabba: "Want to witness the power of a Super Saiyan? Then try it!" With that, he deliberately lowered his aura, and as Cabba charged forward menacingly, a dazzling golden aura suddenly erupted from his body, like the sun descending. Their fists collided violently, a powerful shockwave spreading outwards from them, creating a terrifying storm. Even the Supreme Kai's palace shook violently under this force, and decorations on the walls fell to the ground.
Gabe was forced to kneel on one knee by Chen Yang's overwhelming strength, his face filled with shock and resentment. Chen Yang took the opportunity to lean down and whisper in his ear, "The Tournament of Strength needs warriors like you. Consider joining us? As long as you win the competition, you can reap considerable benefits."
"Hmph, don't think you can win over Gabe with these little favors!" Champa licked the cake crumbs off his fingers and suddenly burst into laughter. "The Super Dragon Balls are indeed in Hit's territory, but that guy isn't as easy to talk to as I am. He can't be bought off with food—unless..." His gaze suddenly sharpened like a hawk's, staring intently at the mysterious device hanging from Chen Yang's waist. "You can unlock the secret of this thing."
Chen Yang was startled, his pupils involuntarily contracting slightly. It was the spacetime compass, a system reward, now warming slightly at his waist and emitting a strange resonance, seemingly responding to Champa's words. "I only recently acquired this thing and haven't fully understood it yet," Chen Yang said calmly on the surface, but inwardly wary. "However, if Lord Champa were willing to explain Hit's situation in detail, perhaps I could study it more quickly."
Champa narrowed his eyes, a sly glint in them: "You're quite clever, kid. Hit is the strongest assassin in Universe Six, his strength is unfathomable, and his personality is extremely eccentric. The Super Dragon Ball he guards is hidden in a mysterious spacetime rift, surrounded by traps and barriers he has set up."
“That sounds like he won’t be easy to deal with.” Chen Yang stroked his chin, pondered for a moment, and then said, “But we have to try no matter how difficult it is. Lord Champa, since you know Hit so well, why don’t you reveal some of his weaknesses to us? If we really get the Super Dragon Balls, you’ll definitely get your share of the rewards.”
"Weaknesses? Hit doesn't have any obvious weaknesses." Champa curled his lip in disdain. "However, he's too confident in his strength and sometimes underestimates his opponents. Also, his obsession with protecting the Super Dragon Balls is too deep, which might be the key to your breakthrough."
At this point, Bulma couldn't help but interject, "Champa, stop playing coy. You must have your own reasons for telling us all this, right? Just tell me, what else do you want?"
Champa chuckled: "Bulma understands me best. Besides food, I'm also quite interested in Earth's technology. If you can help me build a machine that can automatically make Senzu Bean Cakes, I'll reveal some inside information."
“Okay! It’s a deal!” Bulma readily agreed. “But you have to tell us first how to enter that spacetime rift.”
Champa's eyes darted around: "The method isn't actually that difficult. On a certain planet in the sixth universe, there is an ancient altar with a teleportation array on it. But activating the teleportation array requires a specific energy fluctuation, and only Hit's killer energy can trigger this energy fluctuation."
"So we still need to find a way to get Hite's energy?" Chen Yang frowned.
“That’s right! And be careful, Hit is not someone to be trifled with. Once he discovers your intentions, he will definitely kill you.” Champa said, reaching for the food on the table again. “Alright, I’ve said what I needed to say, let me try some other delicious food!”
Gabe struggled to his feet, looking at Chen Yang with a complicated expression: "Although I don't know what you're planning, the Grand Tournament of Power is a matter of life and death for the universe, so I will carefully consider your proposal. But before that, I won't easily trust you."
Chen Yang patted Gabe on the shoulder: "I'll wait for your answer. In any case, our goal is to win the Tournament of Power and protect our respective universes."
Amidst Champa's hearty revelry, Chen Yang and the others began plotting how to acquire Hit's energy and their plans for the ancient altar in Universe Six. A confrontation with the mysterious assassin Hit seemed inevitable, and the secret of the Super Dragon Balls appeared to beckoning them, yet also shrouded in an even deeper fog...
Chapter 14: Golden Cell Appears
The sky above Namek seemed ablaze with hellfire, crimson clouds churning and enveloping the entire planet in a suffocating and terrifying atmosphere. On the ground, rubble was constantly being thrown up, hovering in the air before crashing down with a deafening roar. Golden Cell stood atop a broken mountain peak, his tail spike piercing the chest of the last Namekian, a cruel smile playing on his lips. Cell extended his tongue, slowly licking the green blood from his fingertips; the golden patterns on his scales shone even brighter against the blood-red sky, each pattern seemingly flowing with an evil power.
