Kakashi stroked his chin and said teasingly, "Oh? Is that so? Who was that person who said 'Don't come any closer' yesterday?"
Naruto immediately deflated.
What a dark history! Especially the dark history in front of Sasuke, I'm too ashamed to show my face.
"Alright, you guys get ready."
Kakashi leisurely tied the bell to his waist, then reached into his ninja tool pouch to take something out.
This action made the three members of Team 7 on high alert, fearing that the Jonin might pull out some dangerous weapon at any moment.
However, after rummaging around for a while, Kakashi pulled out a copy of "Icha Icha Paradise" and began flipping through it casually.
This scene not only nearly caused the three members of Class 7 to slip and fall, but also left the three members inside the sealed space speechless.
Minato sighed and rubbed his forehead, speechless. "Kakashi wasn't like this before."
Before he died, Kakashi wasn't as rigid as he was when he was a child, but he wasn't as... how should I put it, stupid?
Madara was somewhat annoyed: "How did this guy become a Jonin?"
Damn! It was the same back then, reading porn while casually fighting, looking down on my son, huh?
"Naruto, kill him!"
As soon as Kakashi finished speaking, the three of them vanished from the spot.
After all, a ninja is a ninja, not a berserker who just charges in headfirst.
Kakashi glanced around out of the corner of his eye and couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! No wonder he's ranked in the top three of his grade, his combat awareness is really good."
However, Kakashi remained unmoved by the three's whereabouts and simply stayed there quietly reading.
The two sides remained locked in a stalemate for several minutes before Sasuke, unable to contain himself any longer, made the first move.
Three shuriken were launched in a triangular formation towards Kakashi's upper, middle, and lower body.
However, Kakashi didn't even glance at them, and easily caught the three shuriken with a simple wave of his hand.
Almost simultaneously, Naruto rapidly formed hand seals.
"Shadow Clone Technique!"
Five Narutos appeared out of thin air and pounced on Kakashi from different directions.
Kakashi narrowed his one eye. This was a very advanced clone technique, quite difficult to learn. Did this recent graduate already know it?
Was it the person inside his body who taught him?
Although Kakashi was surprised by Naruto's ability to create shadow clones, he kept his right hand in his pocket and dodged all the attacks with just a slight sway of his body.
"Too slow," he commented lazily, easily grabbing Naruto's wrist in preparation for an over-the-shoulder throw.
"Now!" Naruto, who had been captured, suddenly grinned.
Kakashi's mind went blank as he saw the other four shadow clones simultaneously change direction, not rushing towards him, but instead lunging at the surrounding trees.
The sound of taut ropes rang out, and a dozen tripwires suddenly sprang up from the ground—
"A mere trick." Kakashi scoffed, and in a flash, he leaped into the air.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
A blazing fireball erupted from Sasuke's mouth, completely blocking Kakashi's escape route in the air.
A hint of surprise flashed in Kakashi's eyes, and he finally pulled his other hand out of his pocket, quickly forming a hand seal.
"Water Escape·Water Formation Wall!"
Water and fire collided, and the billowing mist instantly enveloped the entire training ground.
Inside the sealed space, Madara nodded, a rare occurrence for him: "Good cooperation."
Minato also praised, "Naruto, keep it up!"
The nine-tailed fox excitedly slapped the ground with its tail: "Give it your all, little ones!"
In the real world, Naruto used the fog as cover to sneak up behind Kakashi and aimed his kunai straight for his heart.
Kakashi didn't even turn his head, and blocked with a backhand strike—
"Got it!" Naruto suddenly changed his move, throwing a kunai at Kakashi's face.
Kakashi tilted his head to dodge.
This kid's fighting style is really unleashing all his deadly moves!
It seems I have no choice but to take this seriously.
Immediately, Kakashi grabbed Naruto, who was launching a sneak attack, and easily swatted him away with a single blow.
"There it is!"
Sasuke had already activated his Sharingan to observe and quickly pinpointed the location of Kakashi's true form.
He immediately pulled out a shuriken from his ninja tool bag and threw it.
Each of these shuriken had a wire tied to its back, and Sasuke controlled them tightly with his hands and mouth.
This allows it to cover all of Kakashi's routes from the widest possible angle of attack.
Kakashi pulled out a kunai, gripped it tightly in the backhand to deflect several shuriken, and then jumped backwards repeatedly, only to find that each step he took was pre-placed with an explosive tag.
Amidst the roar, his figure was engulfed by the explosion.
"Did we succeed?" Naruto asked, panting heavily.
Sasuke's Sharingan suddenly widened: "Watch out!"
Earth escape: the art of beheading in the heart!
Two hands suddenly emerged from the ground, grabbing Naruto and Sasuke's ankles and dragging them into the soil, leaving only their heads exposed.
"Not bad teamwork." Kakashi stepped out from behind the tree, brushing the dust off his clothes. "But still a long way off—"
Three shuriken suddenly shot from an extremely tricky angle, and Kakashi was hit directly before he could defend himself.
"Success!"
At that moment, Sakura's figure leaped out from the bushes, and she couldn't help but feel happy.
However, the next second Kakashi's body turned into a wooden stake, and Sakura's shuriken was stuck right in it.
"Sakura, it's good that you chose to hide and wait for an opportunity after realizing you were no match for them."
"Sakura! Don't turn around!"
As soon as Naruto spoke up to remind her, Sakura instinctively turned around.
Then she saw Kakashi appear behind her at some point and cast a genjutsu.
Sakura collapsed to the ground.
Kakashi slowly stood up, picked up "Make-Out Paradise" and continued reading: "The tactics are good, but the execution is lacking. It might be useful when fighting Naruto and the others."
Soon after, Sakura was tied up next to the tree stump, while Naruto and Sasuke carried their respective bento boxes.
Kakashi, while watching "Make-Out Paradise," commented, "Overall, you guys didn't do well this time."
"Naruto and Sasuke do have a good teamwork, but their fighting style is too direct, which causes the two of you to affect the opponent's timing of attacks."
"And then there's you, Sakura. Knowing you couldn't win in a direct fight, you chose to attack from a distance. The idea was good, but the coordination was poor. Not only did you not offer any assistance to Naruto and the others, you also failed to seize the opportunity to attack."
"Therefore, you have failed this survival exercise."
Chapter 30 is acceptable, but we want to continue.
A heavy atmosphere filled the training ground, with sunlight filtering through the leaves and dappling the three disheveled figures.
Naruto slumped to the ground, his blond hair covered in dirt.
Sasuke leaned against a tree, his black hair disheveled, his Sharingan slightly dull from overuse.
Sakura was tied to a tree stump, her face no longer showing the excitement she had when she first arrived, and her fingers were white from gripping them so tightly.
Kakashi stood before them, his silver hair swaying gently in the breeze.
His only visible right eye calmly swept over the three of them, while his thumb casually turned a page of "Intimate Paradise".
"Theoretically..."
His voice was languid yet authoritative: "The three of you should pack your things and get back to school today."
Naruto clenched his fist tightly, Sasuke frowned deeply, and Sakura's nails almost dug into her palm.
A wave of shame washed over them, and the three of them gritted their teeth and remained silent.
Because they know that any explanation at this moment would be futile.
Inside the sealed space, Minato sighed, "They've already tried their best..."
Madara snorted coldly: "The loser has no words; that's the ironclad rule of ninjas."
Nine-Tailed Fox flicked its tail: "But that silver-haired kid's attitude is infuriating!"
The Nine-Tails didn't care about anything else; all it knew was that it really wanted to hit Kakashi right now.
Just as the three were about to be swallowed by despair, Kakashi suddenly closed the book, a barely perceptible smile flashing in his single eye.
"Well, I'm not exactly a demon, after all."
His eyes curved into crescents: "So I've decided to give you a chance."
Three pairs of eyes lit up instantly.
"We'll try to snatch the bell again this afternoon. If you succeed, I'll consider you qualified."
As Kakashi turned around, the sunlight reflecting off his headband made Naruto squint. He added, "Oh, and by the way! You two aren't allowed to give Sakura lunch, or you'll fail."
With a "bang" and a puff of white smoke, Kakashi's figure disappeared.
After confirming that Kakashi had really left, Naruto sprang up and quickly tore open his lunchbox.
"Sakura, don't listen to what Kakashi-sensei said,"
Naruto picked up a steaming piece of fried shrimp tempura and handed it to him: "Eat something first!"
