Chapter 238 Demanding
Chapter 238 Demanding
While still fighting Minato Namikaze, Feng Yan immediately noticed when the barrier disappeared.
"Obito left without even letting us know. Could it be that he wanted to save her that 100 million by letting her get surrounded?"
"That's incredibly insidious!"
Minato Namikaze immediately sensed her intention to leave.
Taking advantage of her momentary lapse in concentration, Minato Namikaze appeared beside Feng Yan in the blink of an eye, unleashing a Rasengan.
Fortunately, Feng Yan reacted quickly enough, imbuing her feet with wind-attribute chakra, which allowed her to barely dodge the attack.
"This battle ends here. I'll take my leave now."
As soon as Feng Yan finished speaking, a pair of wings appeared out of thin air behind her, and she flew directly into the sky, leaving Konoha Village.
It's normal for a Phoenix Release ninja to be able to fly!
Minato Namikaze truly didn't expect that she had such a backup plan; it was purely to stop him from going to the Uchiha clan's territory.
This was the first time he had encountered someone whose speed was comparable to his own. If the barrier hadn't suddenly disappeared, he wouldn't have been able to find any opening, yet the opponent still managed to escape.
Feng Yan left Konoha to ask Obito for money; he couldn't work for free.
Although she cannot use the Flying Thunder God Technique, she can still sense the Flying Thunder God mark on Obito's body.
After all, it's imbued with spiritual power, so finding the person won't be difficult. As for the Chunin Exams in Konoha, Kazekage Rasa will handle that for her.
Obito Uchiha led the Akatsuki members away from Konoha, and then left alone.
The world is so big, and his face was full of confusion.
Feng Yan was utterly stunned to see Obito drowning his sorrows in alcohol.
"What on earth is going on? This person is actually getting drunk?"
She poked it with her finger. "No response?"
Feng Yan narrowed her eyes, highly suspecting that he was faking being drunk.
She tugged at his ear, but Obito still didn't react.
"How much did they drink?!"
"Hey, it's good that he's drunk, we can just get money out of him."
Feng Yan's eyes lit up. Feeling a pang of heartache, she paid for his drinks before helping Obito leave the izakaya.
She found a hotel nearby and checked in. As soon as she entered the room, she threw Obito onto the bed.
"My god, this is even more tiring than fighting Minato Namikaze. Serving others is definitely not her for this job."
Feng Yan rested on the sofa for a while before walking to the bedside.
She removed the mask from Obito's face, rested her chin on her hand, and looked down at him with admiration. "Hmm... he's quite stylish."
Feng Yan coughed lightly, then bent down and whispered, "Obito..."
No response...
Two calls, still no response...
After three calls with no response, Feng Yan lost her patience and grabbed his face.
The pain made Obito open his eyes, which were filled with confusion, clearly indicating that he was not fully awake.
This was exactly the effect Feng Yan wanted. If he were truly sober, how would she get information out of him?
"Is it you?" Obito seemed to see her in a daze, and suddenly sat up and hugged Feng Yan tightly. "Don't leave my side, okay?"
Upon hearing these words, Feng Yan felt a strange emotion rising within her. She then replied, "Yes... it's me. I won't leave your side again."
"By the way...where do you put the money? I need it urgently."
After hearing what Feng Yan said, Obito hugged her even tighter, as if he wanted to meld her into his body.
After a long silence, he spoke haltingly, "The money...the money is...in my alternate dimension. I can give you anything you want..."
"Then...can you take me into your alternate dimension?" Feng Yan immediately pressed her advantage and asked.
"Okay, that way you'll never leave me again..."
As soon as he finished speaking, Obito took Feng Yan into the Kamui dimension.
Once inside the space, Feng Yan tried to pull away, but Obito held her tightly, making it difficult for her to move.
Feng Yan decisively subdued Obito with force, threw him onto the bed, and began searching for the money he had left there.
She searched around but found nothing.
She went to Obito again and helped him sit up. "Obito...where do you put the money...?"
"Ugh..." Obito suddenly gagged, and Feng Yan, who was right in front of him, instantly turned pale.
"This guy... for money..." She clenched her fists and held back.
The next second, Obito gagged again.
"Ah ah ah..."
Feng Yan instantly exploded, standing up without even glancing at Obito.
Obito was still hungover and fell off the bed without anyone to support him.
She noticed it but didn't care. Feng Yan sniffed her own body, her disgust not too obvious. At this moment, all she wanted was to take a shower and change her clothes.
"What kind of fetish does Obito have? Why is his wardrobe full of cute outfits?"
Feng Yan searched for a long time before finally finding an outfit that didn't look particularly cute.
Feng Yan was very familiar with the layout of the place, and she didn't notice anything wrong at first.
After taking a shower and changing out of her smelly clothes, Feng Yan felt like she had come back to life.
She kicked the dirt on the ground, thought for a moment and then helped him back to bed. Then she got a wet towel and wiped his face.
After all that, the smell of alcohol seemed to have dissipated considerably, and the air smelled much fresher.
Feng Yan gently shook his body, calling out, "Obito... Obito... wake up..."
After calling him several times without response, Feng Yan prepared to use the same trick to inflict some pain, but unexpectedly, Obito opened his eyes, startling Feng Yan. "He's awake?"
Half a day passed without any movement, so Feng Yan bent down to observe carefully.
The next instant, Obito wrapped his arms around Feng Yan's waist, and Feng Yan, caught off guard, lost his balance and fell onto him.
"Holy crap...is this some kind of drunken tantrum?"
Before she could react and break free, Obito found Feng Yan's small mouth and covered it with his. The soft and sweet taste made Obito unconsciously pry open the lips of the person on top of him, wanting more.
Feng Yan was stunned for a while, and then a crisp slap rang out.
Perhaps she used too much force, because Obito briefly regained consciousness before falling asleep again.
"This is infuriating!"
Feng Yan stood up abruptly and kicked him off the bed.
"If someone can survive losing half their body, then they should be fine."
She very impolitely took over the bed.
As for the soil on the ground, the cold ground is more suitable for him.
At this point, she didn't want to try to get information out of him; if he pulled the same trick again, she would be at a huge disadvantage.
"Go to sleep, and when he wakes up, just ask for the money."
When Feng Yan woke up after a good night's sleep, she found that Obito was still asleep. However, she had no intention of helping him back to bed. Instead, she sat cross-legged, rested her chin on her hand, and quietly looked at him.
Not long after, Obito woke up, rubbing his head and looking around. "Wasn't he drinking? How did he get back to the other dimension?"
"Hey...you're awake, hurry up and pay the bill!" Feng Yan urged Obito to pay the bill without any politeness when she saw him wake up.
Hearing the voice coming from above, Obito vaguely recalled what happened last night, but he couldn't remember many of the details.
He looked up and saw a very cute-looking girl staring intently at him.
“It’s her… Don’t think he won’t recognize her just because she looks different.”
What trick is she planning to pull now?
Obito quickly noticed her clothes, which he had to admit suited her perfectly.
He pretended not to know and spoke in a harsh tone, "Who gave you permission to wear these clothes!"
"Heh...you smelled terrible on me last night, otherwise I would have gladly worn this outfit. I haven't even settled the score with you yet." Feng Yan said coldly, then added, "Hurry up and pay me, I'm leaving right now."
Obito pouted, no longer dwelling on the clothes; after all, they were originally bought for her anyway. He asked, puzzled by her question, "What money?"
"You're not trying to renege on your debt, are you? Have you forgotten the deal you made with Sunagakure?" Feng Yan grabbed Obito by the collar.
"Sunagakure?"
Obito's expression was even more puzzled. "Could it be that she's been in Sunagakure all this time?"
However, it doesn't make sense in many ways.
He then asked, "How did you find me?"
"Oh, this? There's some sand on you." Feng Yan released her grip on his collar and spoke frankly.
"Now that you know, hurry up and pay," Feng Yan urged again.
Then, as if remembering something, she added, "Don't even think about silencing them; it's still too early to tell who will win."
Obito glanced at her, then stood up. "Come with me!"
Upon hearing this, Feng Yan jumped off the bed and followed behind him.
