Chairman Wu slapped the armrest:
"Mr. Han is right. Our group does need to improve our skills."
He thought of their helplessness in the face of the black snakes, and his anxiety intensified.
"As for other ordinary people, they can't go back; they can only find new places to live," Han Ning added.
"...Find a new settlement, or maybe it'll be right here. In any case, most places are destined to be submerged. We'll move wherever the ship can go."
Han Ning did not participate in their discussion; he simply listened from the sidelines.
After discussion among the awakened individuals at Biyun Resort, they ultimately decided to temporarily settle in this business district to recover their strength.
It's relatively safe here, not far from the resort, so it's a decent place to stay.
Chairman Wu even devised a so-called "Two-Week Stronger Plan".
The goal is to raise the strength of the vast majority of ordinary awakened individuals to the level of those two deceased awakened individuals, such as Chen Feng and Lu Yunping.
The vice president worked hard to raise the upper limit, mentioning the strength of the six-pointed star under Sun Wuyan.
After the discussion, Han Ning found Professor Ye, who was inspecting the damage to the seeds.
"Professor Ye, how are the seeds?"
"Fortunately, the transfer was timely, and most of it was preserved."
Upon seeing that it was Han Ning, Professor Ye stopped what he was doing and sighed.
"It's just that the experimental equipment is gone. I left in a hurry yesterday and didn't have time to pack it up."
"And all that cultivated soil, oh my!!"
"It's okay, we'll go back. I believe it won't be long."
Han Ning smiled slightly.
"Chairman Wu is temporarily settling in this office building. We'll follow them, and you can find a suitable place to grow crops and start over."

Thank you for the monthly tickets, everyone. I'll post the remaining three chapters later; I've been too busy today.
Chapter 108 The Correct Way to Communicate with Nature
"They're too weak, or their strength is just too weak!"
As Han Ning watched Professor Ye leave, he thought of the intense pressure emanating from the four-armed black snake monster leader, and a long-lost sense of urgency surged up again.
"The energy I get from the monsters around me is running low. How can I get stronger quickly?"
He currently has two directions that he can pursue simultaneously.
First, go out hunting to improve the proficiency and progress of various skills.
Secondly, to assist Professor Ye in cultivating plants with combat capabilities.
By utilizing their abilities to cultivate a large number of plants, they can put up a fight against the overwhelming monsters.
However... they have no clue yet, not even any signs of plant mutation.
In this environment, it would be best to cultivate a plant that can survive and take root in water, as well as survive in environments outside the water.
As an ordinary person, Professor Ye certainly couldn't obtain this extraordinary crop; he could only use it as an auxiliary tool.
Relying solely on Han Ning's natural blessings, they simply couldn't determine the direction.
"Why not ask nature?"
Just as his mental strength was almost fully recovered, he found a quiet little conference room, leaned against the wall, rested for a while, and waited for his mental strength to recover completely.
Han Ning banished his distracting thoughts and focused his mind.
Just like last time, I raised my right index finger, and a point of pure emerald light gathered at the fingertip.
The light spots appeared exceptionally soft in the dimly lit room, exuding a vibrant sense of life.
Fingertips moved slowly in mid-air, their trajectories mysterious.
The air seemed to be disturbed by an invisible force, leaving behind faint trails of light like fireflies.
An intricately structured mark, exuding an ancient and natural aura, gradually took shape under his fingertips.
As the last stroke fell, the mark suddenly lit up, transforming into a warm green halo that gently enveloped his entire being.
hum~
Han Ning's spiritual perception was elevated and extended infinitely.
Once again, a faint connection was formed with the natural will of this world.
The mind cast a question at that vast and indifferent will.
He imagined several crops, such as squirting cucumbers, Venus flytraps, and golden vines, gaining extraordinary properties and slaying monsters.
Then, tentatively, he asked, "How can we make them that powerful?"
"Finally, it can fight on both land and water."
He added.
A moment of silence.
A series of images, far clearer than the last time, appeared before Han Ning.
First scene:
The scene has no plants at all; instead, it is a dark underground space.
Several bizarre creatures, somewhere between humanoid and fish-man, are surrounding a massive, dismantled skeleton.
With their rough hands holding bone tools, they carefully cut open the ribcage of the skeleton, revealing an area protected by a thick carapace.
Inside the shell, there was a crystal the size of a pigeon egg, irregularly shaped, shimmering with a faint earthy yellow light.
One of the mermen pried off the crystal with a bone knife, and another merman took it from him.
The scene seemed to be on fast-forward.
The merman holding the crystal quickened his pace and entered a relatively dry room.
Holding a seemingly sharp bone blade, it began to slowly carve the surface of the crystal.
As the carving knife fell, a faint blue energy surged from the fishman's palm, flowing into the point of contact between the knife tip and the crystal.
As the mysterious patterns extended, the crystal, which had originally only emitted a faint glow, suddenly became more concentrated, as if it had been given some kind of "activity".
The final image focuses on the crystal with its water-ripple pattern and restrained luster.
The scene shifts to land, inside a lush forest.
They are also several humanoid creatures.
Holding similar tools, they took out a crystal that emitted a faint yellow-green glow from inside a large, dark tree.
The next action was similar to that of the fishman, but the lines carved on the crystal were different.
Then, in a mountain range where lava was churning, some creatures were engaging in similar behaviors.
The second, completely different scene:
The scene shifts to a simple stone platform.
In the center of the platform was a shallow pit, the bottom of which was covered with a thick layer of dark brown, almost black, soil.
An indistinct figure threw numerous crystal fragments, each shimmering with a different kind of light, into the shallow pit.
Then he picked up a huge, still convulsing, lizard-like creature and slit its throat.
Scalding hot blood poured down like a waterfall onto the crystal fragments and the soil.
The figure would occasionally spew out scorching flames, and at other times add materials inside.
Hissing white smoke rose as crystal fragments melted slightly in the high temperature. The dark brown soil absorbed nutrients mixed with crystal energy, biological blood, and various materials, turning its color into a dark red.
Finally, most of the matter disappeared, and the soil at the bottom of the pit turned into a special kind of soil that was dark red and shiny, with a uniform and fine texture, and emitted strong energy fluctuations.
In the third scene, plants finally appeared.
The camera focuses on an ordinary plant placed underwater.
A pair of withered hands carefully covered the roots of a plant that was somewhat similar to a squirting cucumber, but at least 50% different, with the dark red, high-energy soil that had been extracted in the second scene.
Those hands covered the soil planted with vegetation, their hands radiating a vibrant, natural glow.
Nourished by the light, the entire plant began to tremble slightly.
Then, those hands, like those of a skilled massage therapist, used a variety of exquisite techniques to gently press, stroke, and knead different parts of the plant with hands that shimmered with a rich green light...
It was a display of delicate, slow, and skillful manipulation that dazzled Han Ning, who exclaimed inwardly: "There are such techniques?!"
Under the combined influence of the hands' moisture and the soil, the "squirting cucumber" plant trembled violently.
Its roots expand and branch at a visible speed, growing countless fine, root-like tendrils. These tendrils do not root downwards into the soil, but rather actively attach themselves to nearby underwater rocks or driftwood, firmly securing their bodies.
The main stem became thicker and the skin was covered with a layer of slippery, light blue mucus.
Its fruit is no longer the ordinary melon shape, but has become a "tumor-like body" the size of a child's head, with scale-like structures and tiny holes.
The tumor-like growths clustered together, resembling alien creatures, and looked rather disgusting.
One of the tumor-like structures suddenly contracted, and a condensed, high-pressure water jet, incredibly fast, shot out from the gaps in its scales.
The scene didn't end there; the plant was removed from the water and placed on a piece of dry soil.
The tendrils used to secure the plant's roots have fallen off, but the sap on the main stem has not disappeared.
It seemed to have received a command from "the master of those hands," and the water jets in the gaps between the scales were slightly adjusted. Instead of water jets, they sprayed a high-speed mud stream mixed with fine, hard soil particles.
Chapter 109 Three Technologies
These three images contain an enormous amount of information.
Han Ning felt his mental energy being rapidly depleted.
