"Release me immediately, and I will keep my promise."
Lin Ci nodded.
Seeing this, Dao Long assumed that he had agreed, and his smug look grew even stronger.
"That's right."
"Cooperation and mutual benefit lead to a win-win situation, isn't that good?"
Lin Ci slowly walked towards him.
A look of anticipation gleamed in Daolong's eyes.
"Alright, let me go..."
His voice was silenced once again.
Lin Ci bent down, grabbed his neck again, and pulled him out of the pit like a radish.
"It seems you haven't figured out your place yet."
The moment the words fell.
Lin Ci swung his arm forcefully.
Daolong's aged body was slammed hard onto the hard stone floor like a tattered sack.
With a muffled thud, a shallow crater was created in the ground.
"I am commanding you to cast that spell."
"Instead of making a deal with you."
"Cough...cough cough!"
Daolong lay on the ground, feeling as if all the bones in his body were about to fall apart.
He struggled to lift his head, staring intently at Lin Ci with eyes full of resentment.
"How dare you treat me like this! You'll never get that curse in your lifetime!"
Daolong's body floated up uncontrollably and flew in front of Lin Ci.
"How can you be so sure that I will never get that spell in my lifetime?"
Daolong said viciously.
"Because in this world, only I know that curse!"
A hint of mockery appeared on Lin Ci's face.
"you sure?"
The dragon gritted its teeth.
"I am sure!"
"What if someone else finds out?"
Without a second thought, Daolong immediately swore a solemn oath.
"Then I'll eat a ton of elephant dung!"
Lin Ci raised an eyebrow.
"What a little glutton! Just say you want some."
Thick black fog began to rise from the air around Lin Ci.
A pair of scarlet eyes slowly lit up in the black mist, staring intently at the Blade Dragon with an aura of oppression emanating from the depths of hell.
A translucent soul slowly emerged from the black mist.
The expression on Dao Long's face froze completely the moment he saw the figure clearly.
His pupils shrank to pinpoints from extreme shock.
Chapter 24 Tara: It's you! The thief who stole my power!
The Holy Lord's crimson eyes, like two burning hellfires, were fixed on Dao Long's horrified face.
Tell me, who is untrustworthy?
His voice wasn't loud, but it seemed to carry the chill of the deepest abyss of hell, causing the temperature in the entire hall to drop several degrees.
Within the Spirit Binding Space, Lin Ci did not restrict the Holy Lord's ability to perceive the outside world.
So he heard every single bad thing Daolong said.
Lin Ci strolled leisurely to Dao Long's side, put one hand on his shoulder, and wore a warm smile on his face.
"This is the Holy Lord, I don't need to introduce him further, do I?"
"Noble dragon, great demon wizard."
He turned his head, his mocking gaze landing on Daolong.
"Do you think he wouldn't know the spell to summon the Shadow Legion?"
Dao Long looked at the Holy Lord in front of him, and then at Lin Ci, who was smiling kindly beside him.
Suddenly my mind went blank with a "buzz".
In an instant, all the clues came together.
I was completely and utterly fooled from beginning to end.
The Holy Lord, this demon who should have been eternally mired in hell, is now clearly in league with Lin Ci.
Now that Lin Ci already has the original version of the Holy Lord in his hands.
Why bother coming all this way to have a spell cast on me?
This is not about a curse at all.
Just so I can see myself make a fool of myself!
Daolong's chest heaved violently, and a trapped beast roared from his throat.
"So you've been playing me for a fool from the very beginning!"
Lin Ci seemed not to hear his roar, shrugged, and looked completely innocent.
"Stop talking nonsense. When are you going to eat that ton of elephant dung?"
Dao Long was so angry that he trembled all over, couldn't catch his breath, and almost fainted on the spot.
An angry roar erupted from its throat, almost spitting out flames.
"Is the Holy Lord even considered a human being?!"
"He is clearly a demon!"
The smile on Lin Ci's face slowly disappeared, and his eyes turned cold.
So, you want to back out?
His eyes were devoid of any warmth.
Dao Long felt a chill rush from his tailbone straight to the top of his head, instantly extinguishing all his anger.
He looked at Lin Ci, his young face devoid of any hint of jest.
Daolong was truly frightened.
This young man was more demonic than any demon he had ever seen.
Dao Long's gaze swept across the Holy Lord's cold face before returning to Lin Ci's calm and unwavering eyes.
In the end, all his arrogance and dignity crumbled in that silent eye contact.
He squeezed out a few words through gritted teeth.
"Okay! A bet's a bet! I'll eat it!"
Seeing Dao Long finally give in, Lin Ci smiled with satisfaction.
Now that we've accepted it, it's time to get down to business.
"Alright, now cast the spell."
Dao Long's face was filled with incomprehension and resentment.
"Since the Holy Lord is here, why do I need to use my skills?"
Lin Ci's tone left no room for argument.
"Just do what I tell you to do, stop talking so much nonsense."
He just wanted to see Daolong get his comeuppance.
The goal is to utterly crush him in the magical realm, which he is most proud of.
The Holy Lord beside him stared intently at Daolong with his scarlet eyes, saying nothing, yet his silence spoke volumes.
Under the watchful eyes of the two men, Daolong completely lost his temper.
"Okay, I'll do it!"
Lin Ci released his mental control over him.
Daolong staggered to the ground, picked up his lonely wand, and looked dejected.
"Then, after I finish casting the spell, I hope you will let me go."
Lin Ci thought for a moment.
Of course, you can't kill the Blade Dragon.
The "yin" aspect of Daolong is very important.
If he dies, and in order to maintain balance, an even more uncontrollable "yin" emerges, then Dad will be in trouble.
Daolong was still uneasy.
"I need your promise."
