Chapter 488 - 487: Visiting the Sick

Cynthia Young spoke very straightforwardly. She herself is a strong woman who likes to speak with strength and doesn’t prefer using those publicity stunts.

The artists she has managed in the past have also mostly relied on their work to speak for them.

Bella Acker breathed a sigh of relief, "Ms. Young, thank you."

"Protecting the artist is my responsibility as a manager," said Cynthia Young. "Since you caught a cold, take a day off today, continue your training tomorrow morning, and there are two photo sessions in the afternoon."

"Okay." Bella nodded.

"Have Judy Zimmerman go with you to the hospital for a check-up, get some medicine, if it’s really severe, get a shot."

"I know. Ms. Young, I’ll head out first then."

"Alright." Cynthia nodded, already dialing Archer Quinn’s manager on her phone.

Judy Zimmerman was waiting outside for Bella, handing her a cup of hot water as she came out.

"Thank you," Bella said with gratitude.

Judy said, "Bella, did you catch a cold?"

"Just a little cold, I’ll be fine after taking some cold medicine." Bella drank some hot water and felt much better, "Ms. Young gave me the day off, I plan to visit Senior Quinn at the hospital first."

"I’ll drive you over then."

The assistant’s job, besides taking care of the artist they’re responsible for during work hours, also requires accompanying them regularly. If encountering paparazzi or fans, the assistant must protect their artist at the first instance.

Bella knew this was Judy’s job, so she did not refuse.

The two left the studio to visit the hospital.

Someone had posted photos of Bella and Archer Quinn’s car accident online, and now media reporters and fans all knew Archer Quinn was injured.

When Bella arrived at the hospital entrance, she saw quite a few fans holding signs waiting outside. The signs all had wishes for Archer Quinn’s speedy recovery.

Judy looked at the hospital entrance and said, "Besides fans, there are quite a few journalists camping out. There must be some at the back door too. Bella, are we going in through the main entrance?"

"Yes." Bella nodded, saying, "Since someone posted the photos online, everyone knows Senior Quinn was in the accident with me. If I don’t come, it would seem like I’m deliberately avoiding suspicion, or being heartless. We’ll just go in openly, no need to avoid them."

"Okay, I’ll park the car in this open parking lot." Judy nodded, parked the car, and escorted Bella toward the hospital.

After all, there were many people coming and going at the hospital, and the fans and entertainment reporters camping out didn’t pay much attention to the approaching car. However, once they saw who got out, they immediately became restless.

The media reporters, with cameras and microphones, rushed out of their vehicles en masse, crowding around Bella.

"Bella, are you here to see Joan at the hospital?"

"Bella, there’s a rumor online that you’re dating Joan. Is it true?"

"Bella, how long have you been dating Joan?"

"Bella, could you respond to us just a little?"

Judy shielded Bella and quickly walked towards the hospital while raising her hand to block the cameras that were nearly in Bella’s face.

"Bella! Bella!" The journalists doggedly pursued, unwilling to back down.

Bella kept her head down and walked quickly, and the security at the hospital entrance noticed the situation, immediately coming over to help clear the way.

"This is the hospital entrance, please keep quiet."

With security paving the way, Bella finally made it into the hospital smoothly.
